  1. Hi Johann Check out the van layouts on the Kedron Caravan website or contact them for a brochure. We don't think you can fit a cafe dinette into a 17' TopEnder van with an ensuite and island double bed. We think it has to be at least 19'6" to fit in. We have Layout 4 which is just over 16'6" internal, 18' external x 7'6", but it has an L-shape dinette. good luck prospecting Tom & Jackie PS We love O'Briens Creek.
  2. Good evening Neil and Julie, It looks like the Golf club at Tenterfield is better than the fishing at the Top End, good luck with the sale. Tom and Jackie. P.S. I could be interested in that in that boat trailer If you have a garage sale?
  3. G'day Prospector, We have our 17' TopEnder for sale. It is listed on rvpoint as Ref: 111948 www.caravancampingsales.com.au Phone us if you'd like more info. Cheers Tom
  4. Hi Sue, We are unable to log in, or register on the classifieds section, where are we going wrong? It tells us that the URL does not exist. Thanks Jackie. :helpsmilie:
  5. G'day John, How did your external cleaning of the van go,with all those hints from the forum? About to start Jackie on her mission, any thing you would or would not do? Up the Old Red Rooster, Tom :helpsmilie:
  6. Ah! Tassie, what a top place, It is a bit like go-ing OS, Our favourite butchers are Sharmans at Wivenhoe, and for something completley different Morrilla vine yard north of Hobart, we love Tassie and could prattle on for days. Enjoy, Tom and Jackie
  7. Dondelta, Ithink that the 2.8 yammy is a good move, more weight than the 2.4, but more grunt and if you are using the the van for living off the grid, you can live that life of luxuary, I believe that is the reason we buy Kedron. My days of laying around on the ground, ended many years ago, Enjoy life and the comforts you have earned. Cheers, Tom and Jackie.
  8. John, Check the caravaners forum I think I read something on there ,hope it help's. Tom
  9. Sorry John the rest of the gang got it right, I'm just a colour blinded QUEENSLANDER, I shall order a bottle for Jackie, it will give her a job when she finishes mowing. Tom.
  10. John, Contact Kedron they use a pink polish!, but I have not been able track it down in the retail stores, Regards, Tom
  11. G'day Pete and Tracey, A quick fix would be a couple of tubes of Roof and Gutter sealant and a mastic gun, Have some soap and water mixed and a blunt knife to spread the sealant you could check your Wynguard antenna they have a rubber grommet that could come lose, check to see if you have any water ponding on the roof Good luck , Tom and Jacky
  12. G'Day John and Pauline, Got some bad news for you mate, the 8 RAR top ender was the first Kedron into Pandanus in 2006, I did not have the child bride Jackie with me, she thought Bali with her sister looked better value. Welcome to the Kedron Mob. Up The Old Red Rooster and more good times. Tom and Jackie
  13. In the past we've unscrewed the inside fittings and cleaned the frame and insect screen at the same time. Although I scrubbed and soaked with preen etc, I still couldn't get rid of the pink tinge caused by red dust. We've opted to replace the screens with dark coloured midge screen. Looks good, doesn't show the dirt and is tighter down the edges than our tired white ones. Here are some very detailed and easy to follow instructions on how to replace the screens. Thanks to Lawrie and his dreampod website. I sewed mine along the pocket to ensure they stayed in place. http://www.dreampod.net/boroma/dometic_windows.html best wishes Tom & Jackie
  14. Hi KOGers We are on a day sailing back to Melbourne from Tassie, arriving in Melbourne 6 pm. We are planning to head west, destination Adelaide. Can anyone recommend a good place to overnight - caravan park or free camp - but away from the road and quiet and not too far from Melbourne. Has anyone been to the Ballan Caravan Park? Thanks for any advice. best wishes Tom & Jackie

    Tyres

We've got BF Goodrich on the LC, and are very happy with them. Of course, it doesn't matter how good your tyres are, if you are unlucky enough to pick up a nail they still go flat on the bottom  Cheers and beers Tom
