  8. Brief History The Kedron Owners Group (KOG) was formed in October 2003 as an Online Forum. The Group then incorporated in September 2009, becoming the Kedron Owners Group Incorporated (KOG Inc). The primary purpose for incorporation was to provide Public Liability Insurance for financial members attending authorised KOG Inc. trips and gatherings. Anyone is welcome to view or join our forum, however only financial members of the Kedron Owners Group Inc,. and their invited guests, are permitted to attend our gatherings. All users are expected to familiarise themselves with the Online Code of Conduct and adhere to these standards when using the forum. Our Purpose To provide our members and guests with a high quality, online forum, together with a range of activities that will enhance their well-being and promote the responsible use of Kedron Caravans and the caravanning lifestyle throughout Australia. This will be achieved by encouraging safer driving and road courtesy; treating fellow members, guests and the general public with dignity, respect and courtesy; promoting safe and hygienic practices around camp sites; respecting the environment and the law; and striving to improve the conditions available to Kedron Caravan owners and caravan owners in general. Benefits of Financial Membership As a financial member of the KOG Inc. you will have access to areas of the forum previously unavailable. Topics cover Upcoming and past Gatherings; Member Photos and Van Layouts; Hints, Tips and Products; Camp Spots and Clothing. Even better, you will be able to join and enjoy Gatherings that are being held, or, even better, host your own. Documents and all information are available on the Forms and Fact-sheets sub-forum - including Frequently Asked Questions, Prompt Sheets and the needed information about Public Liability Insurance. Members are encouraged to hold Gatherings in their home states as well as while travelling. This is NOT just a QLD group, there are Kedron Members all around the country, both living and travelling through. Your membership payment and joining fee are used to cover the costs of providing and maintaining the forum, as well as such items as name badges, membership badges and development and printing of brochures and documentation. Any funds which are excess to the above are donated following the Annual General Meeting, to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Since incorporation, the Kedron Owners Group Inc. has donated almost $8000!! Welcome to our Group Have a go, and enjoy life on the road!
