  1. It should already have it as standard. My 2005 has one as standard. Wont need an extra one. I fitted a VDO auto temp guage and my 5 speed auto temp has never gone over 75°c towing our XC3 at 3500 kgs
  2. Hi guys my wife and I are in our 40's and heading off on the big lap for a couple of years. Finishing work this Friday and start travelling next week in our 21ft xc3.
  3. Thanks guys and girls for your help regarding my insurance. We have been intouch with Ken Tame and we now have the van and tug insured with them. Not only were they very helpful and a pleasure to deal with but saved us many hundreds of dollars in the change over process. More fuel money in the pocket. Cheers Steve and Sheridan
  4. Cheers Merv and Di too. Do you know if they will give a quote without being a member? If i'm happy with the quote I would join up. I will ring them tomorrow anyway.
  5. Cheers Rick. Im am all good with mail as I can use a family address for that. It's the insurance I have to sort out
  6. Hi fellow Koggers. I have my 100 series insured with Shannons for agreed value. I am very happy with the policy but the other day I updated some info too them and asked the question about insurance when i start travelling Australia mid 2016 with no fixed address. They said it will be very doubtful they will insure me when i head off as i need a address that i reside at every 3 to 4 months for a good period of time. Just wondering what others do in this situation.
  7. I got a cover from aussie caravan covers at what i though was a good price of $300 for a 22 foot cover. Found them by accident as it flashed up on my facebook feed. Very well made with axcess door sewn into it be it front or rear door. I too have noticed that my solar panels are operating through the cover as my Redarc bcdc is on float mode in the day and turns off when cloudy and batteries are fully charged. Happy days here
  8. We would just like to thank Tony H for a fantastic deal on some new Clearview mirrors. Was a fantastic dealing and can't thank him enough. Cheers mate and we will see you on the road somewhere.
  9. Hi i am after some clearview mirrors (chrome/electric) to suit my 100 series. Im coming down to Bris from Weipa to pick up our xc3. If anybody can help me out with a new set or pre loved set it would be much appreciated.Tia
