  1. There's a variety of places to stay over through Lakefield National park from the very basic with just a clearing or bush around you to sites with ammenities , Suggest a visit to Cooktowm Information centre to grab some brochures and maps of that area . Have a great trip , We loved it  Deb
  2. Geoff and I just had four weeks in Cape York ( July 08) During our overnight stop in Lakefield National park we had a visit from a fresh water Croc just metres from the van , As this was on our way up the Cape it made us aware and alert of our surroundings every overnight stop we made. Regards Deb Stuart
  3. Sorry its been awhile for this reply, We have a flip n Ezy , Geoff says the new one has a better weight distripution then our model, our's has no suspension so it is lighter and tows well we have had it up to 100 k's on the highway from Redcliff to Donnybrook. it takes about 15 minutes to put together with a couple of spanners and a couple of pins , we have ours on the back of the van all time and I think we use it every time we stop long enough to put the boat in the water . Regards Deb :shades:
  4. Well we are home from a quick week-end gathering for us pulling in Saturday morning and out Sunday morning but as usual a lot of laughs and fun . Great to see everyone enjoying themselves even if it rained the whole time. :drunk: Mavis and Jane a bit worried about you two  Hope to see you all again soon Deb and Geoff
  5. Well we are home from our week-end away using the new Prodigy V2.6 , It took just a short time to adjust and get use to reading and changing the setting and I will say it is really worth the money , I could feel the difference in the braking immediatly . Once the setting was where it needed to be we did not need to touch it again . Thumbs up from me Geoff
  6. Hi David, Yes we purchased a Prodigy V2.6 controller , we picked it up yesterday and Geoff is fitting it this week-end , I was impressed with the neat little DVD you receive with it giving details on instalation etc. I mean if I had read the instruction manual I would have no hope in understanding what this little unit does , But after watching the DVD it all makes sence (I am but a mere female ). We are off to Crabbes Creek on the long week-end so we will let you know how the unit went but from all the feedback I feel confident we made the right choice .
  7. Hi Kimbo The Prodigy Brake controllers I spotted on e-Bay they are $149.95 Buy Now plus postage of 12.50 all up $162.45 , I just checked sidewinder they are $175. Thanks for the info though Brian and Lis at least it gave me an idea of price. Not much in it . Thanks guys
  8. Has anyone purchased or looked at the Prodigy v2.6 brake controller (auto brake sensing application). I am currently looking at the above unit and am looking for any feedback that may be out there good or bad.
