  1. Hi Sunday I purchased mine on eBay, easy to install, cut the hole, connect to 12volt power, jobs done. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RV-Camper-D...sQ5fAccessories For product details inc. size http://www.safe-t-alert.com/re6.htm Cheers Bryan
  2. Mick When I fitter mine I ran the wire down the back between the outer skin and the ply lining and then in hose fastened to the chassis under the floor. If you need any help don’t hesitate to ring me only to happy to help. 0419 552 801 Cheers Bryan
  3. John This site may be of some help try page 20. http://www.lubricationspecialist.com/cmtdoc/airtronic.pdf For parts try this guy, I purchased a white closable heater vent for the toilet/shower from him. I was quoted $75.00 for the vent by CFR Sydney, :whip: this guy supplied and shipped for $27.00 http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Diesel-Heaters-Spares Bryan
  4. Phil I missed these if you want any more let me know. Bryan
  5. Hi Phil These may be of some use Bryan
  6. Phil I installed the heater in our Top Ender when I modifier the rear wheel carriers to swing out. I fitted the tank into the rear bar and the pump under the shower/toilet. We still have the ticking problem but as John said once the van is warm and set between 1 and 2 we could hardly hear it. I fastened the pump to the chassis in preference to the floor as I thought the floor would have a drum effect, but the sound still travels thru the van. Cheers Bryan
  7. Hi Well no response to the question so I did some research and installed a Safe T Alert combination Carbon monoxide/Propane Alarm. May well save the crow and i waking up in the morning DEAD. Cheers Bryan
  8. Hi All The fix has been completed. The crow was not inclined towards sikaflex (after I paid $28.00 for a tube, guess I can use it in the MGA restoration) so I purchased some chrome strip on eBay. Cost Bunning’s Fur $30.00 Chrome Strip $32.00 Total $62.00 I am not convinced the fur impedes the ingress of insects, but the crow assures me that they won’t cross fur. (Hey who am I to argue?) :confused1: After pulling the windows out I believe blocking the breather holes is at least 95% of the answer Cheers Bryan
  9. Hi Has anyone fitted an LP Gas and CO Detector? What make is recommended? Bryan
  10. G'Day Rick I have a Silver LandCruiser 100TD just like you brudder  Bryan
  11. G'Day The battery in the tug has a terminal illness and will have to be replaced, as anyone information on Optima Redtop Dry Cell Batteries? :confused1: Bryan
  12. Hi Bunning’s have a grey adhesive backed stick on door seal fur which looks the same as the “FIX” it’s 6.5mm wide and 5mm high retails for a under $2.00 a MTR. I think I’ll give it a try along with the Sikaflex. Bryan
  13. I contacted the chap from the eBay site and received the following. Hi Bryan, If you can order 4 of each at one time the price will be $142 incl postage.as there would not be so much waste in vinyl. Or 1 set at a time would be $53 incl postage. Cheers Jamie Makes Kedron’s price questionable. Bryan
  14. Hi Pete, Tracey and Tolley I modified the rear bar to fit the heater tank (I still have to fabricate and fit the ally cover) and in the process I made the spare tyres swing out as the boat trailer limited access. No problems getting the wood and gear in and out now. Cheers Bryan
  15. Hi All Has anyone tried the Clearview mirrors? They are electric, big and pricey. Bryan http://www.clearviewmirrors.com.au/default.asp
  16. Hi Chris Did you receive a wiring diagram with your van or know of anyone that has a wiring diagram for the battery setup in a topender? The jumble of wires I refer to is the manner they are connected to the batteries without appropriate identification tags and this was done by Kedron. I can install the inverter but a wiring diagram would be of assistance. My major concern is if I have an electrical problem in the middle of nowhere the only guy that can fix it is me and without the appropriate information it could be a formidable task. Cheers Bryan
  17. Hi Has anyone a wiring diagram for a TopEnder? I want to install an inverter but look in the front boot at the batteries, the electrical gear and the jumble of wire and shudder. Bryan
  18. Hi The stickers on the rear of our van are starting to peel off and Kedron want $240 plus postage for a new set. Has anyone had this problem and is there an easy fix? Bryan
  19. Jacky Jacky Thanks for the heads up, the vent does close but I will make sure it is covered. Pity I don’t know how to post pics. Bryan
  20. Chris Well the heater is in and working, I only have to cover the tank with ally plate to match the van. As usual the job was not straight forward and to fit the tank I had to alter the rear bar work for the spare wheels so I bit the bullet and hinged them. A big job but I am happy with the result, thanks again for all the help Cheers Bryan
  21. I think the less said about weight issues the better off all will be. Bryan
  22. Hi Chris With pictures it’s so easy Thanks Bryan
  23. Tony H Thanks I need all the help i can get. Bryan
  24. Tony H I intended to install the heater under the bed with the hot water unit (single beds) and duct thru the cupboard, under the fridge and into the shower. I am having second thoughts under the fridge sounds good no noise less space loss. Is it possible you could email some pictures of your system? bryanhawke@aol.com Thanks to everyone for their help. Cheers Bryan & Erna
  25. Hi Guys It was the cabin air that I was unsure of, now all I have to do is decide where to install the vents. Thanks Bryan
