Reece, is it a cassette toilet (model no ?) that pulls its fill water from the water tanks or is it one with its own water tank - ie like a C402C?

Regards

Ann

Good morning Reece.

We had same problem early last year [ours is a cassette C2 which carries its own water]& it was the pump. We got new one from Green RV at Gympie, Qld. cost about $150. & to install you remove toilet paper holder pull pump out cut wires, re join & it comes with heat shrink & put back in tank & all is great. Hope this is of help.

Neville.

Reece,

We had the same problem and installed a new pump as Neville did, but had a similar problem with the new one after a few months.

The problem is that if you don't use the toilet for a few weeks the impellor binds or seizes up. The solution is to take the pump out by unscrewing the one screw that holds it in position. This can be a bit tricky. There is enough electric flex to take it right out without cutting it,then get a tooth pick or better still a metal skewer and try turning the impeller on the underneath side of the pump until it moves freely then test it by pushing the button. It should work again. There is usually no need to get a new pump you just have to free up the impellor. Try to push the button every few weeks to run the pump for a few seconds and hopefully it wont seize up again. Otherwise you will have to repeat the process of freeing up the impellor every time you use it after a long period of non-use
