dusty screens

Hi Ian,

Trust life is treating you well!

Two things you can do in this situation with your flyscreen....... mix up a detergent solution in a pump pack & spray the screens then with your bride on the inside or opposite of the screen to you.... both with towels in your hands.....then rub together. This will improve the look & slighty clean your screens

(as they will be stained & you will never get them looking like new) the best bet is to follow this link...... http://www.kedronownersgroup.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2224&hl=screens

Having fitted the black midge screen to my van a couple of observations

1. Yes they let in a little less light....which in turn means a little less heat (which is good)

2. Being black in colour.....it is a pleasing how much extra privacy you get inside the van.... as in people outside cant see in as easily!

3. If you do this 'conversion' when measuring the 'vertical drop' of the screen ... reduce the length of the screen ( which you can safely do) as the new midge screen is thicker & will cause an obstruction (& foul on the roll) when you roll the screen up ;)

4. The small off cuts from the 'conversion' I got my bride to make/sew up 'small socks' to fit over the water tank overflow outlets.......so the mudwasps don't build nests in the ends of the pipe.
