Hi  We are looking at a few options for an Off Road Caravan, we like the look of the Kedron, we currently have an Australian Off Road Camper Tralier that we have not had one issue with great piece of kit. We are looking in the next few years of possibly stepping up to an Off Road Van. We are both ex ADF - Army and love getting out in the bush..

Hi Linda and Stephen

Welcome to the forum and life outside the ADF.

There is a lot of information on this forum about Kedron Caravans and experience of their owners, so ask lots of questions and talk to Kedron owners you may come across. From our perspective, we are on our 2nd Kedron, the first served us well for about 9 years and our second is now just over 4 years old. They build great vans, and their after sales service is excellent.

If you are looking to purchase a new one in the next few years, it may not be the same van as you see today. Kedron are continually improving their vans, fit outs, inclusions and designs. In the meantime why not consider a 2nd hand Kedron to experience it while you finalise you own plans; that way you can get out in the bush in style.

Cheers

Peter

Hi, Linda & Stephen. I'm still serving, but in the process of planning a Kedron getaway. Good to see other ADF people doing the same. Sure beats a hootchie at Shoalwater!

Hullo Vulcan

There are many ex-ADF people out there in their caravans and other RVs. But there is also a lot of ex-teachers, nurses, business people and other people from all walks of life out there travelling this wonderful country. We all just muddle through, and mix with each other and enjoy each other's company. However, it is true people with similar backgrounds do tend to attract each other, but that is the case anywhere.

I spent many a night in a 'hoochie' at Shoalwater in the mid to late 1960s, but at that time man had not walked upon the moon!!!

May the force be with you.
