Silverado shocks upgrade

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Has anyone upgraded their shocks to remove/reduce the bounce that occurs on rough roads. In particular the front end. I would be interested to know what shocks you used and their cost/ effectiveness.   I have 2014 Silverado crew cab with Z71 pack ( but the shocks look like standard factory fit.)

thanks Leon

I've used both Bilsteins and Fox (both out of the states) on the Rams and f250's I've owned. Made an immediate difference and were quite cheap.

the very best were Kings (us) but poisonous price. Great shocks though.

havent had a Chev but all were 3/4 t same as Silverado. Plenty specialist stores can give good unbiased advice in states.
