Due to torrential rain, it was not possible to bid every one farewell this morning. We trust that every one enjoyed themselves as we did, even though at times we were put to the test with gale force winds and driving rain.This meet was voted as the wettest meet to date. Funny how when you are having a good time you don't really notice the weather :biggrin: It was a beautiful sunny day up there today. We've left the van up there (with Margaret as caretaker) and are going back up on Thursday night for the long weekend. Maybe get some fishing in this time.To Mark & Bern many thanks. cvtripper Posted April 22, 2008 Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 Thank you Mark & Bernadette for a fantastic weekend.Roast on Saturday night was fantastic, as was dinner on Sunday at the local.While it was a bit rainy, it didn't stop us doing what we planned - a bit of fishing, a drive up the beach to Rainbow Beach, and drinks with our fellow KOGgers, etc.For those who left on Sunday, Monday was a fantastic day - cleared up nicely!
