If it doesn't come up from the link Phil provided, just do a seach on the left hand side of the page for the word - Kedron.
  2. You are right Colin - there IS a search function in here. Go back up to the top and under our photo strip you will see the word "Search" between "Links" and "Members". Give it a go. The fewer words the better. ie. search for just "Honda"...not "Problems with Honda Generator".
  3. Excellent ! Thanks. Good to know it all fits so well.
  4. Thanks for that info Danny & Sue. Any pics?
  5. Thanks for taking the time to post Tony. I am sure all our 200 Series owners would have read it with interest. That is what the forum is all about, sharing experiences and information. Hope you are both well and we can catch up again when down your way.
  6. We installed a separate fan which stands approximately 3-4 inches away from the original. This is operated by a separate switch inside the van. If the fridge looks like it is getting hot....or needs a bit of a boost, we just flick the switch inside and the temperature drops. Also good if the original fan goes and we're away from a service centre, we have the second fan that will get us by until we reach civilisation to have it replaced. Having said that, we have only "flicked the switch" twice as our fridge temperature is usually pretty good.
  7. Just measured ours. When fully extended, the outer edge of the mirror is 46cm from the window. This is measuring directly out from the window and not along the angle of the mirror arm. Hope you understand the difference as it's a little hard to explain. No they certainly don't fold in when trucks pass Tony. They are very solid and firm in their position.
  8. Hi John & Maureen, We have the Clearview towing mirrors on our Landcruiser 100 Series and find them very good. Downside The split mirror takes a little getting used to at first They don't come out quite as far as the Aussie Truck Mirrors Upside No screech from glass against metal every time you put the windows up and down (what a relief !) Always attached to the vehicle - no need to take off and put on mirrors when driving around towns The mirrors are very large, so give a great view The mirrors fold in against the vehicle for tight spots ....and of course, electronically adjusted from inside the vehicle
  9. Perhaps we'll just call you a lurker. Albany is a beautiful part of Oz. We spent some time there about 2 months ago and will definately be returning. Cheers
  10. Sounds like an excellent way to secure the wheels. Do you have a pic you can post Richard?
  11. Hi Rod & Mavis, Just been through a similar experience - with son looking after place while we were away. All I can say is......good luck with that ! The work now begins..... PS Merry Christmas to you both and happy planning for Tassie.
  12. This could be a good idea for those who wish to participate, however (for confidentiality purposes) any information or further discussion regarding a listing, should take place in the Members Only Forum.
  13. Hi Mal & Kerry Uploading to the avatar section should reduce it to the correct size for you, but only from a reasonably small size to start. I have attached here some instructions from our Forum Help Topics on uploading an Avatar. AvatarInstructions.pdf If you still have problems and would like to send it to me, I will reduce the size for you and email it back. Email - webmaster@kedronownersgroup.com I had a quick look at your pic in our Photos section. Very nice ! Looking forward to some inside pics now. I had to reduce the size of your pic though as it was still quite big. If you let me know what Operating System you are using, I might be able to point you in the direction of a quick picture resizer. Cheers
  14. It seems that quite a few of our members are getting new Kedrons for Xmas. Very exciting unwrapping those little beauties. Can I just remind our Financial Members to let our Secretary kedronownersgroup@gmail.com know when you have picked up your new van so she can change the Membership records. She will need to know what type of van you have ie. TopEnder, ATV etc., the Chassis Number (starts with KC _ _ _ _ ) and the registration. We will also need to change your profile in the forum to show your new van type as it quite possibly still says "On Order". Enjoy your new vans, travel safe .... and hope to see you on the road sometime.
  15. Hi Mal & Kerry, There is a photo section on KOG. Just look down to the Members Only areas and you will see a subject for Members Photos. Just start a new thread in there and call it Mal & Kerry's van or similar. There is also a help document on how to add photos in our Forum Help Topics under the heading "Adding A Picture To A Message". Let me know if you have any problems and I would be happy to assist. The only thing I ask is that you reduce the size of your photos before uploading. They don't have to be real small. Perhaps something like 1366 x 768 (approx 200 KB). We would love to see pics of your new baby.
  16. Thanks for the reminder guys. I'd almost forgotten to put up a few Xmas decorations around the place. Can't do too much as we're still away and I don't have a lot of my files with me. But Merry Xmas to all our Members....and guests. Whatever you choose to do, whether you're on the road or staying at home with family, please stay safe and have a good one.
  17. Hi Tony, Nice to hear from you. Yes, you are right. We did buy a piece of foam specially cut to size to fit the 4 season hatch (at great expense I might add), as we had read either here or possibly on the Caravanners Forum that it would stop the dust coming in. We put it in place on the first couple of days on the Gibb River Road, but each night there was no sign of dust on the foam at all. After the two days we took it down permanently and threw it in the back of the car where it has travelled for the rest of our around Australia trip. Might find a use for it when we get home with some holes cut out to protect our Kedron mugs from breaking. I think Peter and Margaret prepared with foam as well and didn't need it either. I agree with Rick & Lea about the placement of the 4 season hatch. Ours is behind the roof airconditioner. We have just crossed into Victoria and will slowly weave our way across to just below Sydney. The car keeps wanting to do a U-Turn and it's taking all my energy to hold it in a straight line. Funny thing that ! Cheers
  18. Hi again, We have had absolutely no dust at all through our four seasons hatch or our fantastic hatch and we have certainly seen some dusty tracks lately.
  19. Hi Gary and Kaye I noticed a discussion on these recently on the Caravanners Forum Link here Heke Hatches They didn't get such a good rap from those who had them. We have a four season hatch at one end which we love as you can leave it open slightly even in the rain and everything stays aired out and no rain gets in, and at the other end we have a fantastic hatch.
  20. Thanks Gary & Kaye. Can you please also list this in the Classified Section of KOG. A step by step "how to" can be downloaded from our "For Sale" Forum, and a link to our Classifieds is located at the top right of this page under our header graphic. Cheers
  21. Hi Farmer, Glad you are enjoying your Kedron experience. We don't like to call it camping anymore - it's more like towing a 5 star unit behind your vehicle. It's nice to be out there amongst nature, but in style and comfort. Regarding the clothes in the wardrobe - this can often happen if you have a rear bed layout as the rear of the van bounces more than the front, lifting the clothes in the wardrobe up all together in one movement and often when they come down, they don't land on the rail at all, instead falling as you say, in a heap on the bottom of the wardrobe. We found if you put one of the hangers in reverse to all the others (ie if you hook your hangers facing the back of the van, turn one or two around to face the front) this will help. Another thing you could try is buying a long piece of high density foam, or even one of those pool noodles cut length ways and jam this up between the rod and the ceiling of the wardrobe. With this, hangers don't have any room for upward movement. Some other KOGGERS might have more suggestions, but we use the reverse hanger method and don't have any problems at all. Cheers
  22. Hi Mark and Deb, Nice to hear from you. Gee Tasmania is a big move from Brisbane. You will love it down there though. We thought Tassie was beautiful and would love to go back in the not too distant future. Take care and hi to the gromets.
  23. No problem at all guys. Hope you get a quick sale. Due back in Qld just before Christmas. Cheers
  24. Hi Glen & Debbie, Sounds very similar to the setup that Joe Springer installed for us before we left on our trip. We are more than happy with the charging and felt it was well worth the dollars spent. I was a little sceptical at first, but I am now one of the converted. It has made significant differences to our charging. I believe a handful of other KOGGERS have had the same setup from Springers and from what I hear they are happy with their setups as well.
  25. Hi Rick and Lea, You might like to put your items for sale in our Classifieds section also. That way they won't get lost amongst the general threads in here. If you need help, there is a step by step guide in the "For Sale" or "Forum Help Topics" for downloading. Cheers
