As Tony H said easy as, I replaced the light globe with an LED which is a bit larger in diameter an shorted the holder wiring out now I have to find out where I can find a replacement for it, so be careful if you are not replacing with a genuine globe. 32 Kev

Hi JK, Thanks for your reply, yes my tow ball mount would also upset the sensors, but where the sensors are fitted on the lower part of the canopy, the floor section 150mm above extends out about 40mm further than the sensors, I did not think this would affect them but Performax told me it does, and like I said metalink is not being very helpful.

Hi, I have had a Metalink canopy fitted to my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, and have found that the parking sensors blocked error lights up. Performax at Gympie checked this out for me and suggested I take it back to metalink, and at the moment I am receiving no help. Has any of you Silverado owners had a similar problem and if so how did you have it corrected. 32 Kev

Hi Baz, I did own a 20i Honda generator and found it would run the aircon OK with everything else turned off. After three years I ordered a new Kedron and found it would not run the new front load washer, so purchased a Genquip 3300 and it was money well spent, and yes you can run many things at once, and because it does not work hard it is much quieter than the Honda. I carry the Genquip in the back of my ute now but I carried it in the generator box in the caravan at first, I had to grind the small aluminium lip off the bottom of the box just in side the door, you will get it in and out without much effort as I did. Looking for advise, A friend of mine with a 19'6" 2010 ATV has sagy Leaf springs, he like most of us has the van loaded on extended trips, and has noticed the springs have lost their height to the point where the spring hanger touches the rocker arm when traveling on uneven surface, and the van looks low even when unloaded. Has anyone had this problem, if so what was the remedy ?, replace or re set springs or add an aftermart assessorie, any help would be appreciated.

:helpsmilie: Hi Grahame, A quick question, at this moment i to am having battery problems 3x120 ah. At sundown the batteries show 13 volts capacity and to all acounts are fully charged as they will only accept 1.4amps when i have started the generator. At about 3am the remote regulator in the van is flashing showing the battery voltage at 10.8volts, and the compressa 230litre fridge is trying to cut in but can't. I turn the fridge off and the batteries go back to 12.5 volts, if i turn the fridge back on the batteries go back to 10.8volts and the fridge cuts in and out continusly. When i read the max volts it shows 13.8v, and minum 10.8v, and battery percentage of charge around 90% with 34amps used. I removed the three batteries when fully charged an let them sit for 4 days, they all remained at 13volts, i took them to not one but 4 battery places and they tested them with their equipment, an all said the batteries are good. I have since connected a 40 litre engle fridge to each of the batteries in turn and after about 4hrs they all fell to 11.8volts and after another hour the battery fell to 10.8volts and was still runing the fridge. The 3 batteries are 28 months old and to me they are throw away, but can you tell me = How come the batteries take and hold charge? When in line in the van they drop so low in say 7hrs to a point where they won't start the 230litre fridge? And when tested Three battery places say they are O.K?. Any help would be appreciated to stop me going around the bend. Cheers 32 Kev

:question: Firstly could anyone help with info on how to clean the roll up gauze,also i have sealed the slots in the frame top & bottom but still have lot's of insects entering the van when T.V is on some are as big as match heads, any help would be appreciated.
