  1. Hello All, :Australia: In the last week we have spotted 4 separate Kedron vans heading North through Miriwinni. 2 with boats on top of Land Cruisers. Tried calling but no answer on two-way.
  2. Our tow vehicle and Van are insured with RACQ, very competetive rates and good service if you unfortunately have to claim. Please make sure you read policy wordings no matter who the insurer is to see what you are or are not covered for and make sure all your extras are noted and included. Best of luck.
  3. Mick attended the KOG monthly meeting and had just told them he couldn't make the upcoming annual Innamincka trip because his missus wouldn't let him go. After copping "the under the thumb remarks and other derisive remarks" Mick left to go back home to the missus. Later when Mick's mates started arriving to set up camp at Innamincka common the following week, who should be there but Mick sitting up in front of the Nissan, swag rolled out, fishing rod in hand, and the camp oven roast stewing away in a hot bed of Coolabah coals. "Geez how did ya talk ya missus into letting you come here Mick?" they asked. "I didn't have to," was Mick's reply, "When I left the meeting last week I went home disappointed and slumped down in my chair with a beer to drown my sorrows. Suddenly the missus snuck up behind me and covered my eyes and said, 'Surprise'. "When I peeled her hands back there she was standing there in a beautiful see through negligee and she said, 'Carry me into the bedroom and tie me to the bed and you can do what ever you want" SO HERE I AM!!
  4. You laugh Sue, I was starting to think it would be a good idea to have a North Queensland Gathering at Miriwinni or Bramston Beach or such. We have the park across from our house where the grey nomads gather every year. BUT! first we have to get our new van so we can join in
  5. Hello Bruce and Sue. We now have just over 100,000 klms up on our F250 most of which has been towing, we fortunately have never had a broken back window. In the first instance we tried a lot of different ideas, covers, rubber belting, etc, etc. Then we purchased a towtector and have used it ever since. We purchased over the internet and they sent it off to us, very happy with their service. http://www.northcoach.com.au/towtector.html "1/13 Dominions Road, Ashmore Queensland"
  6. Please advise what sort of damage and what preparations to take. It is good to be for warned and prepared. Cheers
