Gary and Kaye Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Xmas Fruitcake Recipe1 cup water1 cup sugar4 large eggs2 cups dried fruit1 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon salt1 cup brown sugarlemon juicenuts1 gallon whiskySample the whisky to check for quality.Take a large bowl. Check the whisky again to be sure it is of the highest quality.Pour one level cup and drink.Repeat.Turn on the electric mixerBeat 1cup butter in a large, fluffy bowlAdd 1 tea spoon sugar and beat again.Make sure the whisky is still OK. Cry another tupTurn off mixer.Break 2 legs and add to the bowl and chuck inthe cup of dried fruitMix on the turner.If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver.Sample the whisky to check for tonsisticityNext, sift 2 cups of salt. Or something. Who cares?Check the whisky.Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nutsAdd one table. Spoon. Of sugar or something.Whatever you can find.Grease the oven.Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees.Don't forget to beat off the turnerThrow the bowl out of the windowCheck the whisky again.Go to bed Who the hell likes fruitcake anyway? :helpsmilie: Quote
