XC3 and XC5

G’day All

We are still researching vans and are down to Bushtracker and Kedron. My question is will the XC3 (second hand), or XC5 (new), be capable to undertake corrugated roads over long distances? We will be travelling roads such as the Gibb River Road, Savannah Way, Cape York, etc. etc. the list goes on and on… Obviously the correct speed and tyre pressures are crucial, but I am looking for information on the vans capability.

Thanks

John

Hi John

The simple answer is that is what Kedron vans are made for.  The latter XC5 has a slightly better suspension but it will always come down to tyre pressure and speed.  You won’t go wrong with either of these vans, XC3 or XC5.

Hi John

They are both top vans and will follow you anywhere, within reason that your truck can go.  The main difference between those two are weight, the Top Ender is simply a heavier van.  Ours is a 21’ and we have taken it almost every where from the top of the Cape to the desert roads/tracks to the Gibb and touch wood we have never had a flat.  We were looking at the same Companies as you now are and what totally sold us was Kedrons after market service with smile attitude and nothing is a problem for them no matter where you are, if you need a problem sorted, they sort it.  You won’t go wrong with these vans, it is pretty hard to break one.

Cheers

Merv

Hi John,

We are currently on our third Kedron and have been to all of the places you wish to visit in confidence, safety and without any real problems. I agree with Merv that one of the key differentials between Kedron and other vans is the quality of the after sales service, it's just like we all are part of the Gall family. You can't go wrong with a Kedron.

Happy Caravanning
