Hermit Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 Hi all, I am looking to install a kill switch in my 200s LC. I need advice on what to KILL and how. i.e. Fuel pump, a fuse or a relay etc. or maybe something else??? I would prefer something simple, I am not eager to cut into wiring looms etc. I am also looking to install an OBD port lock, any advice regarding these locks? Trying to have a couple of layers of protection from thieves. Any thoughts/advice appreciated Regards Rob 1 Quote
ATV42 Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 Hi Rob, I have a 200s LC. I looked into the same problem some years ago. Eventually I decided to buy a good steering wheel lock. I lock the steering wheel whenever I park, only takes a few seconds. If the bad guys steel it, they can only go in a straight line, and not very far. Food for thought!!!! Cheers from Pete. 1 Quote
Hermit Posted November 7 Author Report Posted November 7 Thanks Pete, I do have a steering lock that I use, especially when in big cities and secluded locations. I was just looking for another layer of protection to hopefully thwart the "bad guys". I just think if it is not quick and easy to steal that maybe they will move on to another vehicle. Anyway, I think an OBD port lock along with the steering lock is a good start. Thanks for your reply Rob 1 Quote
