Hi Ian One problem with a 3 way fridge is for it to work properly you need to level the van every time you stop or camp. next problem is it runs on 12v while you are driving anyway. I would go for the 12v compressor fridge every time. hope this helps Mark

Hi pete and tracey Yes the sensor or thermocouple can fail.It works by making a very small voltage which in turn keeps the gas flowing. Sometimes they soot up, so try cleaning it with emery tape or fine sandpaper.If this does not work I think your up for a new thermocouple.Not very exspensive. Hope this helps Mark

Has anyone got lithium batteries in their van. The best price I can find is from sydney at $1595 for 90AH plus delivery,there doesn't seem to be many suppliers in and around Brisbane. My batteries are 6.5 years old and probably won't last much longer. Lithium seems to be the way to go but are very exspensive. There was a yellow battery in a previous post but I can't find them anywhere. Any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks a lot Mark
