Hi all
Has anyone upgraded their shocks to remove/reduce the bounce that occurs on rough roads. In particular the front end. I would be interested to know what shocks you used and their cost/ effectiveness. I have 2014 Silverado crew cab with Z71 pack ( but the shocks look like standard factory fit.)
thanks Leon

Hi
Just check with Kedron what is proivided or what they can source at the factory for a good price. This may save bringing a lot in the truck.

Tony,
"Infront Camping" do a wheel covers with attached dirt bags. These are excellent quality. Often the company has specials and you can get a good price/

Just seeking some information on our fridge. When the fridge compressor stops there is a rather large clunking sound. Thought it may have been batteries as these were old and sometimes got down to 11.6 amps. New batteries installed with no change. Happens when on 240 or solely on 12v system. Any one had a similar experience? If the fridge is on the way out what other options are there other than the 230 litre Vitro.
Thanks

Nothing to add to help with grease nipples but I have installed mud flaps directly in front of the suspension to prevent this issue .may helpin the future. Just buy some reasonable mud flap and use cable ties to hold in place

Hi Geoff and Marion
We use this swithch all the time . reason is that our battery charger has a noisy fan. So at night I disconnenct the power (240) switch to 12V and run the van of the batteries. Tried every thing to reduce noise. Next step is to find a quite charger.

Hi
Van fully loaded with all including water would be about 3.6 Tons just a bit over.Leon

I endorse remarks above, I use the 6 ton version also. I do use weight distribtuion system and it works well on the black top. stops a bit of the pitching and makes for a smoother ride

Hi
Had the same problem some time back. Bearings serviced well etc. The only thing I could think contributed to the problem was the electric brakes and the way that the adjustments were made or the brake controller . I had two teckonsha( not sure of spelling) brake controllers fail these were not delivering power to each wheel. Some wheels were locking up and other free wheeling.Went back to a basic hayman reese and touch wood this seems Ok. When servicing done the tester at the service centre worked well but when connected to car got a different result (as above)

Hi Mike
To make mine more efficient I install two computer fans. One that blows onto the compressor and coils and one that extract hot air at the top. Also put in a switch so that I can turn on and off. With the icing up you need to ensure that the termastat under the freezer is ice free.
