Hi
I would check that your insurance does not cover the damage before starting any painting. You may get a surprise

Double bunk layout will be very difficult to sell. Given the cost of these vans most people will be looking for either the queen bed or single beds.

Would these be punture proof from rock the could fly up from then tug?

I THINK A LOT HAS TO DO WITH THE TENSION THAT YOU APPLY TO THE SYSTEM. OVER TENSION AND YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.

I agree the GRR is the way to go. So as not to miss out on the Bungles the main attraction on the other option, may I suggest a flight over the Ord Dam , land at the bungles, then do a chopper ride over them. Back in the plane for the return trip over the Diamond mine. The scenery is fantastic.

I used the high pressure cleaner then used some spray cans of Gal anti rust paint. Comes up like new and also protects the chasis.

I know Kedron are using the McHitch. I have changed to this and find it very good in terms of articulation. Need to be quite accurate with reversing when hitching but this not a problem with reversing camera.

Hi
I have OME heavy duty Springs (600kg)and Nitro shocks . These work really well. No air bag as these tend to reduce the travel in the springs when on uneven roads, tracks. My Van is 21 foot ATV. When van is attached the back end of the tug drop 2/3 mils. Ride Ok when van not on as I also have a Longrange fuel tank and tinny on the roof. Hope this is of benefit to you.

Hi. I have used the "Rucksacker" Wheel cover which also acts as a storage bag. Great for wet gear , hoses, dirty tarps etc. Strongin construction. Google Rucksacker . they are base in Redland Qld
Hope this helps

Hi I have opted to upgrade the batteries to a 72 amp cranking and a Auxiliary battery . These two can be connected in need if the cranking battery has a problem. I have run this for over two year , including a trip around the block and thus far no issues either from the Truck side or running appliances , mainly a fridge, ARB fitted and I think for around $1300- Leon
