Kez and I are starting our big loop once we get through Christmas. We are kicking it off with Tassie. We are thinking we might be there 4-6 weeks starting the 2nd week in Feb.

I am sure you guys will be a wealth of knowledge and will be able to tell us all the "MUST SEE's". We would be greatfull for any info that can help us plan a great trip.

[Darwin in May]

Hi Chris and Val. We won't be in Darwin this winter, however will be at home in NANANGO. When you are heading south in Queensland, if you would like a slight detour befor or after Kedron, you are very welcome, along with anyone else. Plenty of room on 5 acres with a nice warm fire pit for the cooler months.

Hi all. We also are heading north for winter. Leaving Nanango early May. Cairns, first week June, Cooktown about 16/6, Kalpower Crossing then Bathurst Bay about 22nd June.

We have seen awning arm stone protectors on vans and am wondering if they are made commercially. If so, where and are they successful? :helpsmilie:
