  1. Good morning everyone I am having problems with our battery charger and was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue. It is a Victron CE12/40 Centaur charger which has started to intermittently have a very loud fan noise. It is noisy to the extent I am concerned if left on, it will do permanent damage to the charger. It happens when running on either battery or 240v power. The van is currently under cover and has been using mains power for the past couple of months, but have been leaving the charger on to keep the batteries topped up. Cheers, Peter
  2. Hi Sue Yes, it was a hard decision as like most Kedron owners, we love our van. However we have found our piece of paradise in the tropics and expect to commence building soon. Would love to see you, or any other Kedron owners, when you are next up Cardwell way. Regards Peter & Yvonne
  3. After several months of indecision we have decided to sell our 2006 Kedron XC. It is 20’6” internal with upgraded suspension, in very good condition with low kilometres. It has an extended drawbar, full stove, 240L two door fridge/freezer, separate bedroom, twin beds, computer desk/work station, satellite TV system, Webasto heater and much, much more. The van is available on it’s own, or part of a “ready to go” complete package including a fully optioned turbo diesel LC100 GXL 2005 (91,000kms), as well as a little-used 3.5m tinnie car topper and outboard, Rhino boat loader, fold up trailer and outboard motor carrier (all 2009 registered). For those genuinely interested please contact us on 0427 666 636 or by private mail message. Located in North Queensland, delivery may be negotiated. Regards Peter & Yvonne
  4. We need to replace the veneer panelling on the front of our fridge - is there an easy way to do that without taking both doors off? Regards Peter XC 20'6"
  5. We also use BioMagic because we can safely dispose of the cassette contents in septics and down long drops. We have come across a couple of caravan parks that will ban vans that empty cassettes containing chemicals in their dump points - especially in country areas where septic systems are used. This also applies to "home brews" containing Pine-O-Clean or Bleach. A few times we have had problems obtaining big bottles, but if you ring their 1300 number they will send you the product. We now buy the large bottles. Peter
  6. It looks like it may be a bit slippery underfoot, like shade mesh. Peter

We have also experienced a lack of interest from the factory regarding a part we asked to have sent to us after the van was out of warranty. Ended up tracking down the part ourselves. Agree with Kimbo - very disappointing. Peter
  8. We have been living in our van for the past 12 months and we have not had any mould forming on the shower walls. The only problem with mould was when the bathroom hatch broke and we had it taped closed while waiting for a replacement. Since then we haven't had any problems. We haven't had any issues with the door catches, they all work fine and there is no sign of any discolouration or wearing. We will be living in the van through a FNQ summer so we may have been a bit premature in answering the mould question!! Regards Peter & Yvonne
