Quite a few years since I did it but I recall the road was pretty good. Lots of small rocks so you will need to protect the van.

So you guys are saying that water getting in is ok - its getting out thats the problem ?? I usually have a bit in mine after rain too.

John & Rose. Just wondering if you are taking the van all the way up the development roads? Do you plan to unhitch and do any of the OTL ?

Its about 10 years since I did it but it wasn't a bad road. No worse than other far western dirt roads in my opinion. I wasn't towing - but I wouldn't hesitate taking my van over it now. Like all those roads - drive to the conditions.

By sheer coincidence, I have just spent the last hour googling everything about Carnarvon - with the idea of going sometime in June !! I will be going to State of Origin on the 11th. Might head up on the 12th so we might catch up the last day or so of your stay. Don't suppose you want to change your booking by a couple days ? Peter

Just wondering - once the van is out of warranty does anyone have any success getting Kedron to look at repair work ?? My van is 4 years old and I am having some problems. Electrical and water leak. Rang Kedron and they don't want to know about it. Told me to take it to whoever my local repairer is. Thats a bit disappointing I think given the name they have in the market.

Was that about June ?? I was headed east through Quilpie and a couple Kedrons went past heading west. Also - I pulled in to South West Rocks Caravan Park on Saturday and there is a kedron just down from me. Drop in for the obligatory chat and its the new owners of Chris and Ross' rig. I think I got that name right ?
