Kenilworth Showgrounds is a great spot to stay and explore the local area. In town you can walk to the Mary River (also via the paddock at the back of the Showgrounds) and enjoy the local Bakery and Cafes.
Kenilworth itself has a selection of nice shops, an art gallery plus a cheese, yoghurt and ice cream factory in the form of the Kenilworth Country Food and Cheese Factory.

The locality provides well for the bush walker with idyllic picnic spots and great opportunities for horse riding and fishing with bass, perch, mullet and cod being on the agenda for many anglers.
