  1. We too are part of the caravanserai coming over from the East. In our case we will be joining them at Yulara and then driving across to Leonora with the group. After Leonora we will probably head South to Kalgoorlie and on down to Esperance. We want to be home in SA in early August. I would probably be willing to do a relatively short trip around Geraldton if there was anything suitable for a few day trip?

  2. After travelling the Oodnadatta Track (and all accepted corrigatgions) we found the jet to our thetford toilet seemed to have disappeared. We had this repaired in Adelaide, but had since happened again when on another corrigated road off the Eyre Highway.

also have found top and second drawer hinges have come "unstuck" and catches are breaking. Any thoughts on these

  3. Have a SMEV 401 installed in my Kedron caravan. Have never been happy with the heat in the oven. Apparently Mark 4 = 180 degrees, but have had the oven cranked up to mark 6 with thermometer in the oven and temp has not gove over 150

    Any suggestions?

  4. Does anyone have issues with the standard flexible rubber radio aerial that kedron fit on their vans? We have found in areas of "vague" reception, that ours is of no use at all, whereas, the aerial on the 4WD works fine. Any ideas on replacement or alternative?

  5. I have a 2003 Nissan Patrol 4.2 ltr turbo diesel. I am towing a Kedron ATV 21foot.

At present I have slightly heavier springs but not sure what they are as they were on the vehicle when I purchased it.I have Level riders on the van.. Also air bags on the patrol. And these are my problem as they keep going down. When I tow with them low of preasure I sure notice the differience,so I want to replace them.

My question is.....what is best. replace the air bags only....... get heavier springs and forget the air bags.....or replace both springs and air bags. We are on the road permenently and cover many miles some weeks. But there are times when we like an area we stay put, so I am thinking that the air bags are the way to go.What is the general oppinion of air bags ?

  8. We have a 21ft ATV, which we normally run off 12v, however, when we do run on power (240v)we notice at night that the power supply(which is directly under the head of our bed) hums whenever the vitro fridge starts up which is regularly throughout the night.

WE have temporarily solved this by switching over to 12v at night, does anyone have any other suggestions?

  9. Hi there, have just stumbled across this forum, and though I would share . We picked up our new ATV in February, and are now "itching" to make the plunge to start the block.

Only stumbling block at the moment is waiting for the house to sell..... Not a happy market at the moment.

    regards
