joyngeoff
Hi Ian Smkey Bay is a great spot and Sreaky Bay is a even better. The fishing is pretty good in both areas and if you like oysters you shouldn't miss seeking out the farmers in the industrial estate in smokey Bay. The holiday rush should be over by the time you get there. Also if you have time drop into Cowell as the fishing and crabing in particular is fantastic.Geoff N Joy Burgess. Guest Ash Burton
Hi Ian,We broke down in Smoky Bay SA in Oct last year. Great fishing, small town, very quite, very friendly. There is a caravan park or you can easily find a place on the river and free camp.Definately try out the oysters, get your squid jigg ready and try your hand (gloved) at collecting some of the razor fish (nice crumbed and cooked on the BBQ). We had beef and reef every night, 3 kids in tow and a blast. ENJOY!
