geoff ehrlich Posted June 7, 2011 Report Share Posted June 7, 2011 Hi all, First time at this, just wanted to know if anyone has stored their van at Meekatharra, We are doing a trip next year in about April/May from Toowoomba to Alice Springs and down the Great Central Highway, We want to leave our Kedron at Meekatharra and do the bottom part of the Canning up to Well 33, out to Newman and back to Meekatharra. Storage is for about 2 weeks. We have done the top half of the Canning a few years ago with camper trailer. I know its a bit early but any help would be appreciated. In short, I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't leave my van at Meekatharra as I couldn't think of anywhere secure enough. All I could come up with, and this is a long shot, is to talk to the guys who work at the Power Station. Their compound is large and secured and there is someone there all the time.
