Kaye and Lance Posted September 5, 2011 Report Share Posted September 5, 2011 We have the Engel combination fitted in our ATV2 which we took delivery of in March this year. The first time I switched the freezer on I was concerned it was very noisy, but when I switched it on 24hrs later it was much quieter- may have just needed running in. Also later I nipped up the screws holding the freezer plate in place and I was amazed as to the amount it quitened down. I passed on this info to Kedron. Since then I have had the ATV2 back to Kedron for another matter and they have remounted the units with rubber under the flange mounting. We feel now the vibration and noise is at an acceptable level. We are more than happy with the performance of the units and were glad of the extra freezer capacity on a recent trip to Karumba where prawns were a good price (5kg for $40) so we stocked up.
