Rosco
Just as we have decided to bite the bullit and travel full time we get with this fuel price explosion. Rats!!!I was going to put a large long range tank into the F250. At around $2K I thought this is going to take a lot of miles at city prices to break even. Also I doubt when I come to resell the truck I will get any money back for the tank.Sooo I bought one of these: http://fueltanksruscomau.melbourneitwebsit...ategory_id=1720I purchased the 200 Litre model. It sits in the back nicely and can be removed easily and can be sold when I no longer need it. For the Nissan, Toyota and other vehicle owners the 100 litre one may be more practical.RegardsRosco
JimDi
Rosco,Might be the best accessory you ever purchased. Diesel in Fitzroy Crossing is $2. But in the more remote areas,Oodnadatta road and Tanami, I have seen it range from $2.35 to $2.65 ltr. Whilst all were having a whinge at happy hour the other night one larrikin offered the comment that it was "better to travel this year at around $2 a ltr than next year at $3"RegardsJim
cvtripper
Rosco,If you bought the 1000L model, you'd be able to make a killing out on the road ;-)That's a little gem - I love the bowser filler!
