JOLYBE
Hi all Just asking-can l use a hi lift jack to do a tyre change instead of a trailermate jack? Cheers John
TonyH
Hi John, i wouldn't think there would be a problem, as long as you are 'lifting ' the van at the factory fitted lifting points. Goes without saying that the jack is suitably rated and chock the wheels on the opposite side that your lifting. Stay safe?
Rod and Mavis
Hi John. Under no circumstances use the trailer mate to jack a Kedron. They are only rated at 1 ton max capacity so unless you have a very small Kedron please don"use it. I will leave HI Lift comments to those that know :-) Cheers from the Kyd's
Merv and Di
Do not use the bracing points that Kedron have installed unless they have been suitably braced and strengthened where they are welded to the main chassis rail. Cheers Merv.
