  1. Noelene & Peter, sounds like a beautiful van! As a first time Kedron owner (2002 XC pop top) I appreciate just how well-built these vans are & the pride of Kedron ownership. I can see our van being just perfect for our intended use for quite some time though it's certainly possible we'll update some time down the track (especially if we end up on the road for months on end). I'm curious about the factors that prompted you to update vans over the years. For example, what prompted the change from no. 3 to no. 4? Again, just curious & I certainly won't be offended if you reckon such decisions are entirely your business! Anyway, hope you have a fabulous time with the latest Kedron! Cheers, Sunday
  2. Hi Bryan, I have no experience of these but they certainly sound like a good idea. How much are they & how intrusive are they to fit (in terms of space, fitting effort etc.)? Cheers, Sunday
  3. Hi Vince, I can't comment on a 200 series installation but I have an ARB steel Deluxe bar fitted to my 120 series Prado & am very happy with it. It's a winch bar but I don't yet have a winch fitted. My understanding is you will certainly not be restricted to the (ARB marketed) Warne winches. I would imagine an Ironman winch would fit up easily but your Ironman distributor could confirm. Regards, Sunday
  4. Colin & Gayleen: sounds like you've had a fabulous trip (except for the price of Diesel!). Looking forward to the full report. We hope to do something similar soon. Regards, Sunday
  5. Thanks Laurie & Helen, no doubt we will have a few questions! We hope to have a few answers ourselves in time too! Regards, Sunday
  6. G'day everyone, I've been registered here for a couple of weeks so I thought it was about time to post. Mrs. Sunday & I are the proud owners of a 2002 Kedron XC pop top, single axle van with toilet / shower. We've owned it for a couple of months, it's in very good condition, a credit to it's previous owners (perhaps members here?). Our tow vehicle is a Toyota Prado D4D turbo-diesel auto (great rig all round). We love our Kedron, we've so far only been on a couple of shake-down runs here in Central Queensland (we live in Rockhampton) but we're really looking forward to a decent run within the next couple of months (we hope!). We're both in our 40's & I'm still working, though very much happy to be an apprentice grey nomad in early preparation for the real thing! We'll become financial members & look forward to contirbuting (& learning) from this forum. Cheers, Sunday
