  1. The first thing you need to check is that there isn't a shunt stopping the power going from the van back to the car. This was commonly done by Kedron on their earlier vans. Put a multimeter on the vans Anderson plug and if you get a reading of 12+ volts then you're ok. If your van has the typical 3 solars it won't be a drama. Mark
  2. Our Dometic washing machine is now making grinding noises on the spin cycle after the last patch of corregated road. I'm guessing its come off the rollers. Has anyone else had this problem?
  3. Chris We have 5 Solar Panels feeding 4 130amp batteries and we never run out of power. If your batteries are sealed you can only expect them to last in top condition for 3 years. If you go the Plasmatronics route make sure you get a shunt big enough to handle your inverter (if you have one). Don't worry, the solar guys you take it to should know all this. Ours was changed from the Steca by a 12 volt guy in Perth, which is where we are currently waiting for the Caravan show next week. Cheers Mark
  4. Hi Chris Chances are its your controller. When we were parked next to each other in Cairns last year I showed Val the Plasmatronics PL40 that I had replaced our old Steca with, due to similar problems. Cheers Mark
