  1. hi Bruce and Sue, You sure have made a good choice with Kedron AV2. Our Cross Country is beut having traveled fron Albany wa to Darwin back home via the Gibb River rd and to Tasmania, this past Jan-Feb with very little problems. On the water tank filling we did get caught out on how, to fill the darn thing with out getting blow back all the time, untill some frendly Kedronite in Kunnenura gave us the sullution. Buy some ridgit 10mm black tubing aboout .400mm long, which you shoud be able to push into your filler outlet elimenating any air bubbling back out. I have fitted a common hose type fitting to both hose and 10mm tube this works very well  good luck john and jol
  2. hi graham and marg, We travelled on the GRD last July and would recomend it to any Kedron owner.A road with lots of beutifull rolling hills, river crossings and great camp sites . The only major problem we encouterd was the two copper pipes from the fridge which rubbed together on the sometimes bumpy roads i would recomend you to check before your trip. Just make sure that the pipes are not rubbing togeger , we got ours repaired in derby by the local refrigeeration mob They fixed the leak and placed some pading between. We also had one flat on the van at Bells Gourge which wasn't to bad considering we also traveled the Great Gentral Road Laverton WA to the Olgas As i said we travelled in July not sure what the road conditions will be like in October but i'm sure you will have fun  John Albany wa
  3. Hi LAURIE & HELEN, We spent 5 weeks in Tas Jan- Feb this year what a place lots to see and do. you can free camp just about anywhere No resrictions. Not sure what interests you but we found the mountains great, cradle mountain ect. 21 days will certainly give you a feel of the island ,but you will have to keep moving. We drove from Auther river to Temma and back to Black river just below Stanley the roads were very corrigated so slow going.we traveled 4200klm just in Tas its a small island with lots of roads. We have a rather large photo of the nut in stanley and one of jetty beach on Bruny island hanging in our lounge specky shots wonderfull memories happy travels John & Jo
  4. Hi para 10, we traveled on the great central road last year july and found it worthwhile. As you are prb aware gravel top, sometimes rather corrigated but overall good. Fuel is avaiable.we camped at Warberton caravan park good stop. In hindsite we recon we did it to fast however the locals won't allow you to bush camp. A worthwhile trip and seeing the Olgas at dusk was just fantastic. You will need to get a permit ,phone number in camps 4 book, costs nothing a bit strange but thats the way it is. happy travels John and Jo
