Danny and Sue Posted December 11, 2013 Report Share Posted December 11, 2013 We have just purchased a s/hand chev with a 6.6l Duramax..just wondering if anyone else has put another fuel filter on & what you used.??would like to put a another filter before the factory one but not too sure what to use..had a 5 micron on the cruiser with no probs but i think these have a lot of fuel bypass to keep things cool.. Merv and Di Posted December 11, 2013 Report Share Posted December 11, 2013 Hi DannyI asked the same question when I bought our Chev and was told not to bother as the filter is very easily replaced or drained of water if needed.
