delta57
anyone have any ideas on how much dust gets in through fridge vents on a xc cross country, on fairly bad dirt roads, if so do you cover vents while travelling dave
blackie
Hi Dave We had the same problem. Have a look a the front of the fridge at the bottom there was a small gap running the width of the fridge. I put a peice of high density foam in it, was a tight fit. Seemed to slow the dust a lot. I think the gap was causing a vacuuming. Cheers Blackie
Chris
We cover the bottom vent when travelling on dusty roads. Doesn't seem to affect the fridge at all...Chris
donmar
Delta57We have just sold our Bushtracker and we cut pieces of carpet and attached then over the vents on the outside with velcro when travelling on dirt roads, works well no dust at all.We turned the fridge off while on dirt roads.Donmar.
