Nissan Gone

Greetings all.

News flash:

We have just experienced quite a traumatic day.

Our beloved Nissan 3L auto was picked up by it's new owner today amidst tears and regrets from both of us  .

We had it on the market for the last couple of months with lots of lookers but no takers, until a couple of weeks ago when a true gentleman (Nissan lover) and his wife came by for a test drive. They have a pop top off roader that dosn't get much exercise due to work commitments.(poor devils) They own a Ford Explorer (spit, hack choke).

It was just what they wanted. With the extras that we had fitted (long range main tank, drawers, chip, snorkel,in dash CB, electronic rust protection ,air bags, Mp3 radio, and a new late model engine +++,who would not love it ?).

So she is gone boo hoo leaving us with the Toyota 100 series to pull our beloved Kedron, groan.

Mr and Mrs Blackie please don't hate us grin we loved the Nissan.

Regards to all.

Mavis and Rod.

Well there goes another one.

Took delivery of the new 200 Landcruiser V8 TTD this morning. Very sad to see the Nissan go. I guess I will come to love "Snowball" as much in time.

Still have to have all our accessories put on, long story, should have been done before we picked the vehicle up. So.. we are still stuck in Loganlea for a little while.

Cheers

Eric and Jody

We know the feeling.

You see you never hear these words of grief from Toyota owners

The Nissan becomes a loved member of your family.

Its a pity Nissan hasnt develloped a bigger V8 to rival the Toyotas.

Rosco & Chris

Miss'n their Nissan

(And their Kedron)

Hang on David, theres a few of us (not many) that have the ultimate tow vehicle - the F250.

4500kg towing capacity and similar consumption to the toyos.

With your big Top Ender you should consider changing over. LOL

Don't worry, I hadn't forgotten about you, Roscoe!

Not sure if you count towing the thing that starts with B?

Don't worry, it has been considered before the 200, but that handles it with ease - more than happy and no need.

Is there anyone, in the group. towing a Kedron with an F250?

G-day Eric and Jody.

So sorry to hear about the passing of the Nissan must be soooo traumatic for you both. At least you won't need the fuel tanker following you wherever you go now.

Mavis and me are still missing our old girl.

We are sure that you will develop a little fondness eventually for the "T" word   .

Best regards and hope to catch you both soon.

Mavis and Rod.
