g,day all , just a bit of an update on our travels for anyone heading this way. left mitchell , to charleville , at cobb & co park, not as crowded as bailey bar , did the bilby thing and others, nice town. 20klm. west to ward river,2 nights, good area. on to quilpie and lake houdraman just east of town 4 nights. about halfway to windorah , kyabra creek for 2 nights , then onto the coopers at windorah for a couple of nights. 220 klm . gravel to boulia , all in good nick when we went over it . stopped half way and had the night in the red sand dunes , best overnighter s far . bourke river at boulia , behind rodeo ground, trees alive with budgerigars nesting. mt isa , one night , moondarra park, one night was enough. onward to georgina river at camooweal for a week , great spot. across the barkly via soudan, 41 mile bore, to banka banka . on to mattraranka via newcastle waters, daly waters pub, elsey national park, and bitter springs where we are now . nice park here , mattaranka springs park is pretty average , so gave it a miss, much better here . off to katherine then victoria river downs in a couple of days. hope i have'nt sent you to sleep with this lot. c u on the road, cheers, gazza.

Gazza,

We're leaving Cossack on the 12th June and will go to Karratha for a couple of days. Will be at Cape Keraudren around about the 15th June and will stay there for 4 days. After that, Quondong Point (North of Broome) possibly for another 4 days. From there we'll go to Derby and gear up for the Gibb River Road, so I guess we'll start the GRR around about the 25th or 26th June.

Where do you think you might be about the 25th June? You're travelling a lot slower than I thought you would be (going on the discussions we had at Benaraby), so we might end up crossing paths on the GRR or somewhere in the NT.

Cheers

Russ.

No worries Kimbo, we'll keep an eye out for you. As you can probably see from our avatar, we have a white Disco 3 with a yellow kayak on top, charcoal grey Keddo.

Cheers

Russ
