Tasmania update

We have been hiding in Tassie for the last month,

the last 3 weeks at Dianas Basin 8 ks south of St Helens,

some of the time in the company of Neil and Julie G.

Moved to New Norfolk CP on Sunday, had a great time at the Taste of Tassie Festival to-day, Jacky had her photo taken with Angry Anderson. He is flogging Blunderstone Boots at the entrance to Taste.

Worth the visit, Food and Wine in Tassie is fantastic. :thumbsup:

Hi Chris,

We've been to Tassie a few times and this is the 2nd trip towing the van. Each time we find something new to experience. Tassie is very RV friendly with lots of great camping spots, many of which you can stay up to 4 weeks. Although many roads are narrow, windy and up and down, they are well sign-posted for route names and directions (if not for speed warnings).

We're still at New Norfolk and today we drove out to Lake Pedder and Gordon Dam - amazing scenery, well worth the drive.

Our avatar photo was taken at sunset at Police Paddocks :thumbsup: :thumbsup: on the Murray River not far from Rutherglen - it's a very peaceful free camp but we didn't have much luck catching the famous cod.
