Thinking of Colin ,Dan , ranger Pete their family's and staff at the Eighty Mile beach caravan park in W.A

'

This cyclone lashing the coast now has been predicted at 250 klm 's.

I believe most of the staff and family have been evacuated .

The cyclone is stronger than the one they experienced three years ago which did a lot of damage.

We were there last year for 4 weeks in June and love the park and fishing . :)

Here's hoping and praying every one in this area stay safe.

The news from eighty mile beach caravan park is that the eye missed them leaving them with little damage just some gardening and triming so they were very lucky.

Pardo roadhouse 50km down the road received major damage with 270 klm wind and a lot of rain.

Boy Australia has had some significant weather systems in the last two years.

Last night lots of rain again in Cairns and still flooding in the east.

Makes one wonder what's next.

Down here in Albany we are going through a long dry spell which is rare for us.

Stay safe

Great news for Eighty mile beach.

Have you heard how Pardoo Station fared? Loved that place!

Cheers.

No haven't heard how Pardoo station is maybe ok?

The Pardoo roadhouse really copped it but that's some distance from the station on the coast.

The lady from the road house said thats her last cyclone she out of there

Can't blame her. :D
