Well we are home from a quick week-end gathering for us pulling in Saturday morning and out Sunday morning but as usual a lot of laughs and fun . Great to see everyone enjoying themselves even if it rained the whole time.

Hello Everyone

A big thank you to all who attended the Nooosa North Shore gathering!!! Due to torrential rain, it was not possible to bid every one farewell this morning. We trust that every one enjoyed themselves as we did, even though at times we were put to the test with gale force winds and driving rain.

This meet was voted as the wettest meet to date. Thanks to all who helped with raising the tarps for dinner :chef: on Saturday night and then dismantling on Sunday (in driving rain again, still).

Hope to see you all at Millmerran in October...

We second all the comments so far. Funny how when you are having a good time you don't really notice the weather :biggrin:

It was a beautiful sunny day up there today. We've left the van up there (with Margaret as caretaker) and are going back up on Thursday night for the long weekend. Maybe get some fishing in this time.

To Mark & Bern many thanks. Look out Milmerran ... will break the drought. :biggrin:

Thank you Mark & Bernadette for a fantastic weekend.

Roast on Saturday night was fantastic, as was dinner on Sunday at the local.

While it was a bit rainy, it didn't stop us doing what we planned - a bit of fishing, a drive up the beach to Rainbow Beach, and drinks with our fellow KOGgers, etc.

For those who left on Sunday, Monday was a fantastic day - cleared up nicely!

Honest! Monday was so nice we considered either leaving the van there and coming up this weekend or having a few extra days off! I actually got a little burnt!
