  1. The Brothel Parrot . . . A woman went to a pet shop where she immediately spotted a large, beautiful parrot. There was a sign on the cage that said $50.00. 'Why so little,' she asked the pet store owner. The owner looked at her and said, 'Look, I should tell you first that this bird used to live in a house of prostitution, so it says some pretty vulgar stuff.' The woman thought about this, but decided she had to have the bird any way. She took it home and hung the bird's cage up in her living room and waited for it to say something. The bird looke

  2. AN OLDER LADY An older lady headed to the bank to make a withdrawal. She handed her bank card to a bank cashier and said, “I would like to withdraw $10. The cashier told her, “For withdrawals less than $100 please use the ATM.” The old lady wanted to know why… The cashier returned her bank card and irritably told her, “These are the rules. Please leave if there is no other matter. There is a line of customers behind you.” The old lady remained silent for a few seconds, then handed the card back to the cashier and said, “Please help me withd

  3. OK, from another forum (Caravaners forum) where a member there pretty much asked the Federal Government responsible agency the same question. He got a response which said: "Thank you for contacting the Australian Government Department of Health. You don’t have to get your second dose at the same location. This includes if you are travelling — even in a different state.Your first dose of the vaccine will be recorded in the Australian Immunisation Register, so your vaccination provider will be able check which vaccine you received (to make sure your second dose is the same) and when

  4. Situated on the shores of Lake Alexandrina, probably an hour or so from Adelaide, this lovely free campground is a very special spot. It’s at S35 50 05 E139 2 46. Near Milang, it is accessed via a 10km gravel road, of which 2km is a bit ordinary. No facilities here whatsoever, just lots of peaceful beauty. Mind you it’s the school holidays starting tomorrow...😄

  5. This is from fault page . If your error light is flashing three times every 5 seconds, the rotor may be blocked or the differential pressure in the refrigeration system is too high. Faulty compressor or faulty control module. I hope this helps .

  6. Good morning, Trying to get inspiration for trips this coming winter. Tell me where you plan to travel to or recommend some must see places. What are your plans?

  7. Sandra, you guys are probably experts and able to guide the rest of us! Our plans are to come North from SA, leaving here in May and arriving around Brisbane about mid June. The places we love around QLD (in no particular order) are Lake Tinaroo (Atherton Tablelands); Sandstone Park at Carnarvon Gorge, Lawn Hill, Lake Wivenhoe near Esk, Lara Wetlands.... Many of these may be visited this year. Of course, we do prefer the remoter regions too... We might see you out there!

  10. Hi all, Our TopEnder is 9 years old now and still going strong, but we have a problem with the Waeco RPD215 fridge. The "Fault" light comes ON randomly and flashes 3 times every 5 seconds. It does this for a while, anything from a few minutes to an hour or so. While the fault light is flashing the compressor is NOT running and the small fan at the rear cycles as well, then eventually the fault light stays OFF and the compressor starts to run again. The freezer section is keeping everything frozen ok, but the fridge section does tend to increase in temp when the fault light is fl

  11. We replaced ours in the old Kedron when the RPD215 played up that much we tossed it and I fitted a RPD218 , cabinet opening needs to be 20 mm higher . From memory $2200.00 from the 12volt shop , it was a quite few years ago .

  12. Hi Karen, Thanks for your input. After your comments, I think we will look at replacing the fridge rather than fixing it. Can you tell me which fridge you replaced it with, brand, model, size etc. and where you purchased it. Regards Rob

  13. Don't envy you. Just took our RPD215 out as we had it fixed one too many times. At nine years you have had a good run out of it. Ours barely lasted 7 and was fixed 5 times. Might be time to consider new one.

  14. Hi Kev, Don't think I was that lucky, (VERY appreciative though) I just got what I had paid for, NRMA has a 10 tonne limit on their policy & RACQ have a 4.5 tonne limit. Travel safe, hope to meet you somewhere down the road.

  16. Hi Tony, I think you are one lucky dude, we no doubt all have our stories, I have RACQ full road side assist and have had for many years covering many vehicles i have owned, my Chevy Silverado broke down a couple of years ago RACQ had a local tilt tray truck come and take it to a repair center, shortly after they contacted me and said they have just learnt that the Chevy had a GVM of 4.5ton and their policy will not cover that weight, they said they would cover the vehicle this time and i had to call in and see them and either cancel this cover or transfer it to my other small vehicle.

  17. I am wondering if any members are travelling between states in the near future, or far from home, and have to organise their COVID vaccinations somewhere other than home. We will have had our first jabs here at home in SA, but in June, when the second is due, we plan to be far from home. Probably QLD. Anyone had similar queries?

  21. Hi fellow Kedronners. I have been in touch with Kim Greenwood ("Kimbo") who is seriously ill. Kimbo is one of the founding fathers of the forum, and long time members will remember him well. The history is way back in time (I don't have any idea what year!) a group of three Kedron owners with a passion for the brand, got together over a few drinks and had the brilliant idea to create this group. They were Sue Hoile (Webby), Darryl Darben (Dazmit) and Kim Greenwood (Kimbo). Ann Lynch was present too, I believe... All were tireless in their energy to create the group and kee

  22. That is a great photo of Kimbo. One that reminds me of many great times. He was always one for safety and taught me the right way to use a chainsaw. To this day when I pick up a chainsaw, his words of safety ring in my ears. Thoughts and hugs to Nerida and all his family

  23. it would have been in 2004 we joined the group, I am guessing. And we all met at Milmerran Camp Oven Festival. It certainly was part of the Kedron “family”, which has developed even more tightly since. We all have much to thank you three for what you did back then!

  24. Thanks Chris, don’t know whether have heard but Lara Wetlands had a bit of disaster last week. A big storm went through and they lost the roof off the homestead.. Is is a bit sad for the new owners, not a good start to the tourist season.

  25. Sadly Kimbo lost the good fight last night and passed away. He will not be forgotten as we shared so many good times not just as mates but being a part of KOG. Thoughts and hugs go to Nerida, their children and grand children. Darryl
