  1. Lets try that again no I have logged in..... We have Sharp Carousel microwave and TEAC TV. No interference on ATV, DTV or VAST SAT digital.
  2. I read with interest the comment that Kedron can still get the wheel covers .. but they have to order them. A couple of years ago we went to the factory to get new ones and were told they were no longer available. I guess it depends on who you talk to. We are still using ours which are hanging on by a wing and a prayer aftr 8 years in the sun.
  3. You buggers.. we are freezing down here on the Murray River.
  4. We had our 200 done a couple of months ago and were given a list of the 4 makes/models that we were told were the only vehicles allowed to be replated as an upgrade.. The 100 was not on the list.. There was another Toyota and a couple of Nissans. This was in Queensland. I do not know if the laws are different in other states.. but your up grade must be registered with the motor registry to complete the process.. so they would be the people who would know the absolute truth I think. We had our upgrade done by ARB, I guess they would also know the legality of it.. They organised the mod plate and gave us the forms for the motor registry to complete the process.

    Tyres

Hello fellow Landcruiser owners. I have heard that some of you have changed the tyres on your 200 series Landcruiser for BFGoodrich AT. Can someone let me know what exact size you have. We need to change tyres and are having a devil of a job convincing tyre places of what we want. They are simply saying.... they dont make them in your size. If anyone else has another recommendation for a great tyre for the 200, we are willing to listen to that too.
  7. It is rare for us to drive our 200 without at least some of it being under tow between fills, as we are full time on the road. But from my records: Overall, combination of towning and non towing over 21000kms we have averaged 17.5 The last 3 months we have been very static and have filled the vehicle three times in three months, no van in these fills and we averaged 13.0. Worst ever (some van) 23.2 between fills when the vehicle had 1600km on it. Best fill to date (no van) 12.0 We have used 5 litres of oil over 20,000kms. Love the ride. Love the power and most important to ME, mayby not to HWMBO, is that the thing stops the van so well. HWMBO says that the revs are better when towing at just under 100 than at 90/95, bit technical this bit for me. Cheers Jody
  8. Has anyone had any problems with water coming out of their Lemair? In the last month or so, when we arrive there is wet under my washing machine. Can only guess that it is coming out of the machine somehow, from the little that stays in there when the washing if finished? This has only just started happening. Any ideas anyone? Cheers Jody
  9. I think you will find that its the Thetford top tank chemicals that are giving you the black gunge in the flush tank. We stopped using that some time ago and this problem disappeared. Cheers Jody
  10. Ah ... My little secret. Wild horses cant drag it out of me. Cheers Jody
  11. Happy Birthday Darryl.
  12. A diesel heater. 300mm more in the width and length of the combined shower and toilet. I would also make the coupboard at the end of the bed (in our single bed layout) floor to ceiling instead of just bench height. Thats all I can think of right now. Cheers Jody
  13. Ours just gets washed with pink Handy Andy. Still looks great after 5 years of sun. Doesn't seem to need much else on the white. The checker plate is just now starting to look a little tired though. Cheers Jody
  14. 0409 627 336 This was Johns phone number last time I phoned him. Cheers Jody
  15. Should still have your number ... will give you a call in a couple of days. And yes, we want one to go with the draws. Have Black Widow draws installe. Cheers Jody
  16. Thanks Kimbo, let us know when you find out more please. Don't suppose you have heard any rumors about half cargo barriers as well have you. Eric was very interested to hear about your upgrade. Cheers Jody
  17. Hi Kimbo. You say the snorkels are being shipped tomorrow? To where? ARB? We are still minus one and ARB/Fleetfit in Brisbane (Enoggera) had no idea a fortnight ago when there will be any. Very interested to hear more about this. Cheer Jody and Eric
  18. Hummm, I seem to see some resemblances there. Scarry. Not saying which bit though   Cheers Jody
  19. Hello John and Sandra Just one of the wonderful places we enjoyed in WA is Cape Le Grand National Park, east of Esperance. Some photos of Cape Le Grand National Park taken in November 2007. Cheers Eric and Jody
  20. Here it is .... Snowball with her new bullbar.
  21. Give up fishing??? never.... He is outside modifying things to take his Hobie right now, and putting on the tubes to take his rods (or at least some of them, never met another man with so many rods and reels). I think he is going to sell the tinny, motor and trailer though. Will take a pic tomorrow when sun comes out again. Cheers Jody
  22. Just arrived home from Hervey Bay and saw this post. I am going to assume it is aimed at us LOL. You will be pleased to know that the new vehicle now has mud on it. Drove down some dirt roads today, I guess Eric will have to clean it again tomorrow. We now have our 1000kms up and very happy with it. Going to hitch up at the end of next week and go north for a while. Just have a few bits and pieces to sort out first. Dropped in at Kedron factory on our way to Hervey Bay, came out of the shed and found Glen taking a photo of the front, it seems he liked the bull bar. Cheers Jody
  23. Well there goes another one. Took delivery of the new 200 Landcruiser V8 TTD this morning. Very sad to see the Nissan go. I guess I will come to love "Snowball" as much in time. Still have to have all our accessories put on, long story, should have been done before we picked the vehicle up. So.. we are still stuck in Loganlea for a little while. Cheers Eric and Jody
  24. From my observation, all the vans, with the exception of the Kedrons and Bushtrackers, looked exactly the same. I put my head into quite a few and could not really see anything different from the previous one. I think they are getting more same-samey each year. Cheers Jody
  25. The only outboard motor holder/bracket we could find was one where the outboard lay across in a horizontal position. On our XC (2003 model), this is not really possible. We would have t take off the fuel can holders and gas bottles to to this. Ours is of course a shorter A frame ... being older. We were just wondering if someone has something that would suit us. Cheers Jody
