  1. Hi Ricky, Welcome to this forum, & good on you for thinking about purchasing a Kedron. For my two bobs worth, I would be very hesitant in letting my Kedron out of my sight........even to my best friend! Every Kedron is custom built with as many features & extras as requested by the purchaser. I don't know, you haven't indicated if you have caravanned before, if you have & enjoy/like the vanning lifestyle then I'm sure you will enjoy the benefits of owning a Kedron. If you haven't vanned before, can I suggest that you do a Google search for hire vans & follow that line. It's good that u r in the Brisbane area, can I make a suggestion, the KOG Christmas gathering this year is being held a Canungra Showgrounds 12 - 15 November . Why not come down to this gathering & introduce your self, you will find that Kedron owners are very proud of their vans and are also keen to show off their vans........ you will see some great van layouts and meet some great people who will be keen to assist you with any questions you may have. In the mean time, peruse this site and learn a bit more about Kedron's. I hope this is of assistance to you........looking forward to meeting you down the road one day!

  3. I wouldn't think so, if the number plate & lights aren't obscured you will be OK. You may want to have a look at the recent post, re number plate positioning. Have a safe & enjoyable trip!
  4. Hi Di, Can you please let me know your delivery post code.... thank you.
  5. Thanks for the enquiry. I will PM/email you tomorrow.I have a bit going on here today! Can you please let me know your delivery post code & I assume you have a 2007 70 series...... correct? Mirrors for the 70 series, come in black with no reflectors or chrome with reflectors but NO indicator. http://www.clearviewmirrors.com.au/13515/LANDCRUISER-75-TO-79S/ Yes, I can source & supply the fridge slides also http://clearviewmirrors.com.au/13394/CLEARVIEW-EASY-SLIDE/ which size are you interested in? Regards Tony
  6. Lily is the world's first throw-and-shoot camera. It lets anyone create cinematic footage previously reserved for professional filmmakers. Lily is waterproof, ultra-portable, and shoots stunning HD pictures and videos. https://www.youtube.com/embed/4vGcH0Bk3hg?rel=0
  7. Just a suggestion/comment to the people who don't lift their generator down onto the ground to use it. PLEASE note this only a comment & I fully appreciate that some may have difficulty lifting & lowering a heavy generator from a height. I would be concerned with vibration on the slide assembly, the vibration possibly causing fatigue on the slide mounts & slide rails. Also the vibration being transferred through to the van, not that it is probably going to cause any problem other that discomfort & noise inside the van. Of course you would have the exhaust facing the 'outside' & not into the locker. Cheers, cu down the road.
  8. Andy & Di, Welcome to the wonderful world of Kedron caravanning. Have a look at this link..... it should see you going in the right direction for a genny slide http://www.kedronownersgroup.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1547&hl=%2Bfridge+%2Bslide CU down the road
  9. Awesome, Hi welcome to the forum, I have sent you an email Regards Tony H
  10. Hi Rowdy, Firstly, welcome to the KOG site & wishing you a warm welcome to the group. Not knowing your van or its history, all I can suggest is you thoroughly check the operation of all the appliances & bit & pieces, make sure they are in a serviceable condition.....bearing in mind the age of the van. I would also advise that you have the brakes & bearings serviced before your first trip, just so you are confident that all will be OK. When you get a chance, have a read through the many different topics that are on this site, & dont be backward in coming forward to ask questions .....should they arise. CU down the road
  11. Hi Ian, I have had the new 4.5 tonne McHitch Auto Coupler fitted to our 2007 ATV2 now for approx three months, which replaced the very well used & slightly worn Hyland coupling. In the three months I've had it fitted, I have traveled approx 10,000k's, Saying I am happy with it would be an understatement........it really is fantastic, so very easy to use, no operational noise, no greasy ball or coupling. Wish they were available years ago. Like Rick, above I don't use WDH bars either. I have never weighed my van .......but I suspect it would be heavier than Ricks.......one reason I've never weighed it. Usual disclaimer.....just a happy customer & no affiliation with McHitch
  12. Hi Morribm, There 'used' to be a thread here in one of the sections, on how to post/upload a picture, I cant seem to locate it. Our very efficient webmaster, once she reads this post I'm sure will come to your aid. P.S. I'm also looking forward to seeing your photos
  13. Hi Ourgrange, I have sent you a PM/email Regards & thanks for the enquiry Tony
  14. Hi Sullie, Very sorry to hear of your dilemmas, not that I'm any expert but it would be very unusual for Ken Tame to knock back a legitimate claim, (bearing in mind that the insurer is Allianz) who probably knocked back the claim..... I would be making a lot of NOISE to KT's & record dates & times on all conversations with them. Please keep us up dated on your endeavours. On a side issue.....before the moderators jump on you .......it would have been better to post the above comments on your original post about your chassis rather than starting a new thread. Cheers
  15. Brian, My two bobs worth..... As the batteries are 4.5 years old it would be very wise to replace all three batteries. I appreciate that the AGM batteries are NOT cheap all though it may be an expensive exercise I don't believe it would be called 'extravagant' Batteries (when in multiples) as far as I'm aware should be always replaced as a 'set'. If you were still having trouble down the track with charging etc I would think supplier of the one battery you purchased would have a definite 'out' if there was to be a problem. You say your in Kunna's now are you getting the battery/ batteries from a local supplier there or from Darwin? My thoughts are using a national supplier...... for any warranty concerns.
  16. Seriously hope the diesel heater is working.....
