We will now be bypassing Barkley Homestead by filling up at Camooweal then Cape Crawford or Three Ways if we are going straight across. Wayne and Cheryl Byrne Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 Having just returned from that area, we don't think the fuel at Cape Crawford would be any cheaper than the Barkly (not that we bought from either place) but on the way up we were told Cape Crawford was $2.15 and that was 3 weeks ago. While we were at Manangoora the fuel at Boroloola went up 10 cents in just over a week to $2.05.Also while travelling between Boroloola and Burketown, the only places to get fuel were at Doomadgee and Tirana Roadhouse, Hells Gate & Woologorang no longer sell fuel.Cheryl & Wayne Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
