ATV42
A belated Happy New Year to everyone. We are down at Cockle Creek in Tassie where it is wet, cold, sunny, overcast, winds to gail force and some small hail this morning and its very wet under foot. One side of our van has sunk about 150mm into the mud. Tassie is beautiful and anyone with a boat would think they are in heaven where we are now; a beautiful bay with sandy beach, also wet, cold etc. We'll have to turn around tomorrow and head north, there are no more roads heading south in Australia!!!We have been in Tassie since 24 Nov and still have about 5 weeks to go. A great place if you don't mind the wind, rain etc.Cheers everyone, stay safe and well.Peter & Margaret(ATV42)

Chris
And from the Travelling Martins who have temporarily given up travelling and settled into a house! We have bought a house in the Barossa Valley (SA) - oh joy, all that wine!- and Okie, the offroad Kedron, is sitting under some shady trees in the back yard. We are selling our Darwin house, so the move is permanent. We are heading up to Brisbane and the factory soon to pick up our new Top Ender. We hope the 2009 travelling year is filled with excitement and pleasure for you all.Chris and Val
