  1. Tony, have a look at the data plate. The ATM reads 3500kg. Looks like they have the Lovell braked towing capacity upgrade, but I suggest their ATM upgrade was/ still is 'work in progress' when they made the decision to sell. If Chris and Lynn have made the decision to sell their rig due to health reasons, Margaret and I wish them all the very best and hope everything goes OK. Pete

  2. Ha ha its a funny world. There is a new listing in the Items for sale...... Topender & 200 series for sale....possible bargain there...... but read the description 'just had 4 tonne up grade'.....have a look at the photos....whats wrong? Truly wish there was consistency, with the engineering/licencing authority's I wish Chris & Lynne a speedy sale.

  3. Any caravan over 3.5t must have GradeT rated chains bolted not welded to a frame. David Gall is getting back to me with a suggested way of doing this .We are still having some issues as to how to fit to the 200 series . Under 3.5t its as is ok to weld the chains .

  5. Greetings all caravan and camper trailer owners – be it a Kedron or any other make and model home on wheels. You are invited to join in with loads of fun on the Weekend prior to & including Anzac Day @ Wandoan & continuing onto Quilpie if you desire for that towns Centenary. Please come to Wandoan, QLD for the Wandoan On Show Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd April 2017. Incorporating the Wandoan Show and an extended weekend of festivities focused on putting the spotlight back on the Wandoan district. Monday the 24th April is the local Agricultural Show Public Holiday in Wandoan. Anzac Day commemorations will be held on Tuesday 25th April 2017. If you have time & are eager for more adventures following this event, you are also invited to travel to Quilpie to help Quilpie celebrate their Centenary. This is NOT an official Kedron Owners Group Gathering as the event is open to any caravan make, so please note that KOG Public Liability Insurance does not apply to this event. This is a general call for any traveller who may like to go to Wandoan to support the town for their Community Show & Anzac Day service & Quilpie Centenary event. Information of the long weekend events can be found on the Wandoan Show websiste http://wandoanshow.com.au/ Other information being organised can be found on the attached Flyer. Camping will be at the Juandah Historical Site – 92 Windeyer Rd Wandoan https://www.queensland.com/en-in/attraction/juandah-historical-site Peter Shadforth’s organisation Shadforths Civil Contractors will be sponsoring some of the events at the Wandoan Show. Cost for camping is $10 per night per van for an unpowered site. It is advised that if you plan to go to Wandoan that you book your camp site ASAP as the camp ground is filling up with bookings. Book direct with Juandah Historical Site please. There may be limited powered sites available, but it is 1st come 1st serve basis. There is limited water available so please come with full tanks. Refilling is available via your 12v pump siphoning method from your portable water containers. (Taps are on site) The camping ground is pet friendly and there is a dump point, plus toilets & showers. Entry cost for the show itself is $25 per vehicle (max 4 people in a car) Peter Shadforth will also be organising a Shuttle bus service between the campground during the weekend’s events. There are also other planned events around the Wandoan Show dates - please find all the details in the attached Flyer. But please note that due to high demand, the buses to these extra outings are now fully booked & therefore it is advised that you will need to arrive in your own vehicle.
