  6. Hi Mark I think you will find the pizza place at Winton is closed now I told darryl about it and a few years back he went there but last year passing thru Winton we were directed to the pub in one of the side streets and it just wasnt the same. The cafe that Darryl is talking about is directly opposite the Northern Gregory hotel it may have reopened I dont know if it has it is definately worth a pizza they were expensive BUT worth every cent with slabs of steak on it rather than mince At Chinchilla have you considered the free camp at the weir with free power and allowed to stay for 48 hrs good fishing spot for the kids to keep them occupied Regards
  7. Found this and thought you all would like to see it LOL
  8. Hi Ian and Robyn I cant comment on the KDSS as I dont have it on my 200 but the standard suspension I have has been good and as with most previous (3) landcruisers I have had I will probably have aftermarket suspension fitted and a lift as well to a heavy duty type suspension. The weight distribution hitch on my vehicle is standard and I do not have any problems whatsoever with this setup and to be honest I dont understand where BT are coming from with these drop hitch's you talk about as I have a heap of adjustment left. You can see some pics of my car and van in photos section under Kimbo's album 200 series and this is when the car was totally standard Regards
  9. Ok you should have email in inbox now with some additional info and pics of work done today Regards
  10. Their telling you PORKIES  I have one fitted on the left side of steering wheel near the knee pad and it works same as it did in my 100 and this prodigy was removed from my 100 and fitted to the 200 by Toyota in Mackay  I can send a pic if you like Regards
  11. hi Ash and Nell?? I reckon if you read this you will get an UNBIASED opinion  http://www.kedronownersgroup.com/forum/ind...hp?showtopic=70 regards
  12. David that is the cover I have and I thought the same OUCH but in saying that it is the best of the lot and it protected my motor very well whilst up in the gulf. A phone call and they ask what sort of motor, and there it is sent over from WA and landed on my front door within acouple of day very good service IMO. Just be aware that if you want a locking tab its extra and also if you are going to put the plane wing things on the bottom of the motor you need to tell this also regards
  13. Hi Jody so when the 200 arriving then ??
  14. Hi all I had my ARB deluxe bullbar fitted today with the winch and driving lights and I am a very happy chappy can be found in the photos section under Kimbo's album 200 pics I also did find out if anyone is considering buying a bullbar better get in VERY quick as I believe there is a hefty price rise going to happen very soon as the price of metals has gone up significantly Just what I was told but I'm very happy with the fit and my vehicle is the first in Newcastle to have this bar fitted and I been worried all day LOL Regards
  15. Hi Mark Welcome to the group I'm not aware of anyone within the group that has triple bunks in their van but in saying that Mark and Deb have an enduro "family van'" and from memory they travel with 3 boys in tow and I'm sure Mark will post a reply when he sees this as to what his setup is within his van.
  16. Hi David I have the realezy barcoo same as Yoshies and when folded it just sits in the rear tray on the van flat and isnt an issue. They arnt the lightest of trailers but I am like you need it for when I'm home to tow the boat around locally and it is speed rated to 100klms from memory. Before I purchased I towed the van to the dealers and tried it where I wanted it to sit I had the little bulldog trailer and found it to be to big folded up and cumbersome so I sold that to buy the realezy. My opinion on the flip and easy and the almanac trailers was they were toooo light and wouldnt withstand to much travel on the rd but they would be great if all you needed was for short trips to the boat ramp and you were really concerned with the weight issues. hope this helps
  17. Hi Eric At the caravan and camping show in Sydney a few weeks back I saw a new side loading rack that Rhino are now making and was very impressed with it. Actually was talking to Flipper about it and I think he said Kedron were also keen to try it out. I have the old style off the rear, Rhino and I think from memory it was you who mentioned the rear visor over the rear window would foul on the boat, well I asked the rhino reps at the show who were aware of this and they are designing something that will overcome this problem but when this is available they couldnt tell me.I am not in a real hurry for the loader at the moment so I'm just sitting back and waiting just like I am for all the accessries to become available for the 200  Regards
  18. HI Roger Handbrake use there will only be 2 working the front ones But travelling and thru the brake controller the 4 should all work. If this isnt the case have you had the brakes adjusted since purchase ?? if not you need to adjust them which is not a very hard job if you know how to do it, if not a brake specialist should be able to do it very quickly for you Regards
  19. Ok Mark you learn something everyday and yes there is an arrow pointing the side beside the fuel tank symbol Something I have never ever noticed before Oh and a big thanks to our SA KOG memeber who rang me too this afternoon to inform me of the same thing 4 landcruisers and I never knew of this, wonder how many others havnt noticed this either ??? Regards
  20. Ok as some people allready know I have had a 70 litre AUX tank fitted to my 200 for nearly a month now and was part of the R&D for these tanks giving me a total of 163 litres of fuel and I also retain my spare in its original position a tank any bigger than this will require the spare to be relocated via a rear wheel carrier. I am constantly averaging around 1200klm + per tank and the most I have squeezed in was 149 litres so I am getting some good range I reckon towing my Topender which I havnt tested yet with the new tank in will give me 800klms approx range which makes me very happy  Ric has just released details of these options this afternoon for the 200 so I am attaching the details here for all to read and if you need further info contact Long ranger tanks http://www.thelongranger.com.au/200seriesl...gefueltank.html 200_release_poll.doc Regards 200_release_poll.doc
  21. Hi Frizza Sheesh those prices are a bit rich IMO. I have been looking into the battery question and I think my final decision will be to seperate the batteries but I'm still waiting a while to see the results from what others have done. I have also seen the 3rd battery option and I wont be going that path either as I dont like the idea of moving the vital bits closer to the motor, heat from motor and exhaust I reckon this would cause more problems. If you get onto this site there are a couple of guys who have split there Batteries and havnt had any problems to date that I'm aware of http://www.lcool.org/forum/viewforum.php?f...b1e639ca139b1bd they are pretty switched on so maybe add this question on this site I'm sure you will get heaps of replies Regards
  22. Hi Roger Mine dont work no more either and funnily I was just out there cleaning the cassette and trying to get rid of the black mould with in the flush tank I actually had the destructions out reading them because at the caravan and camping show I was told and shown that there was a battery for the guage but this was in a thetford but different kind to ours. Whilst doing this I had a look and if you remove the cassette and look along the right hand side inside the compartment there looks like a pedulam thingy with a black centre and I THINK this is a magnet and on the removable cassette where about this pendulum is you will see a square section that would be near or exact spot so i am thinking there must be a magnetised pendulum float inside the tank dont know how you could fix this but Im not keen on getting my hand in there and feelin around :tongue_ss:  Regards
  23. Yes Roger it did take a while for me to get use to it as well many times hopping back into the car and turning it around. Did get caught once with the van on trying to get into a servo which I just reversed out and drove away to the next Servo which I made sure was bigger. These days I'm more tuned into it and plan the attack at some servos BUT I am also looking for the bigger type servos when the van is on the back Regards
  24. I heard this to be a fact today also whilst visiting Sydney so you cant hide even the words out in NSW Regards
