Alan and Jayne
G'day I know this has been discussed previously, but I am wondering if anyone has come up with a workable solution to eliminate the ticking of the diesel heater. I am considering remounting the pump in some sort of enclosure or with a sound insulator around it.Has anyone got a workable solution to eliminate the ticking?CheersAlan

sellinup
I turn the sink tap on just enough to make a dripping sound, and then I can't hear it.
Mayzee
A bottle of red helps! Like everyone else we don't have another answer but I must admit being in Queensland we don't need to use it very often.
John and Ann
Hi Alan,I know of at least one person that relocated the tank and pump to the rear of the van with great success. Seems to me quite a simple job.John
Mr Wato
Hi AlanI have relocated the tank and pump to the rear of the van, I had a new aluminium tank made, the tank is protected by a rear bar. I fitted the pump under the back of the van and fitted a ali stone guard to protect it.I have tried wrapping the pump, rubber mounting it, nothing else worked but relocating.Cheers Phil
