  16. Did you know “listen” and ”silent” use the same letters? Do you also know that the words race car spelled backwards still spells ”race car?” And that “eat” is the only word that if you take the first letter and move it to the last, it spells its past tense “ate?” And have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in “illegal immigrants,” and add just a few more letters, it spells: “Go home you free-loading, benefit-grabbing, resource-sucking, ba-by-making, non-English-speaking a#*eholes and take those other hairy-faced, sandal-wearing, bomb-making, camel-riding, goat-shagging, rag-gedy-a## bastards with you.” How weird is that? English really is a strange language, isn't it!!!!!!
  17. Hi Ann & Sue, Trust you are both well & enjoying retirement (you old farts)
  18. FIFTY SHEDS OF GREY The novel “Fifty Shades Of Grey” has seduced women – and baffled blokes. Now, Fifty Sheds Of Grey, offers a treat for the men. The book has author Colin Grey recounting his love encounters at the bottom of the garden. Here are some extracts... Fifty Sheds Of Grey We tried various positions – round the back, on the side, up against a wall... but in the end we came to the conclusion the bottom of the garden was the only place for a good shed. She stood before me, trembling in my shed. “I’m yours for the night,” she gasped, “You can do whatever you want with me.” So I took her to Bunning’s. She knelt before me on the shed floor and tugged gently at first, then harder until finally it came. I moaned with pleasure. Now for the other boot. Ever since she read THAT book, I’ve had to buy all kinds of ropes, chains and shackles. She still manages to get into the shed, though. “Put on this rubber suit and mask,” I instructed, calmly. “Mmmm, kinky!” she purred. “Yes,” I said, “You can’t be too careful with all that asbestos in the shed roof.” “I’m a very naughty girl,” she said, biting her lip. “I need to be punished.” So I invited my mum to stay for the weekend. “Harder!” she cried, gripping the workbench tightly. “Harder!” “Okay,” I said. “What’s the gross national product of Nicaragua?” I lay back exhausted, gazing happily out of the shed window. Despite my concerns about my inexperience, my rhubarb had come up a treat. “Are you sure you can take the pain?” she demanded, brandishing stilettos. “I think so,” I gulped. “Here we go, then,” she said, and showed me the receipt. “Hurt me!” she begged, raising her skirt as she bent over my workbench. “Very well,” I replied. “You’ve got fat ankles and no dress sense.” “Are you sure you want this?” I asked. “When I’m done, you won’t be able to sit down for weeks.” She nodded. “Okay,” I said, putting the three-piece suite on eBay. “Punish me!” she cried. “Make me suffer like only a real man can!” “Very well,” I replied, leaving the toilet seat up.
  19. Firestone air bags are what I have fitted to my tow vehicles, (have done so for many years). I have found them to be the 'bees knees' in keeping the vehicle level with the van on the back. The most important thing when using these airbags is to inflate them to there maximum pressure (30psi/220kpa) BEFORE you put the van on the tow vehicle, put the van on...... then drop the pressure till you get the correct required ride height. When you reach your destination or finish your trip simply drop the pressure down to about 5psi/35kpa & your limo ride is not compromised. I have purchased my airbags from 'the states' from this crowd Michigan Truck Springs www.truckspring.com I have only just in the last week or so received a new set for my 'new' 200 which I will take delivery of at the end of next February. Ordering from the easy to use website is very simple & delivery to my home usually takes less than a week (thanks to US Mail & Australia Post). The airbag kits are easy to fit yourself if you are mechanically capable with basic workshop equipment...... but if you are not so inclined you mechainic should be able to fit the in about an hour at the approriate labour cost. The part number you need for Firestone airbags to suit a 200 series with std suspension is 4164 suggest you go to the Michigan Truck Springs site & put Firestone 4164 in the search box & go from there ..... so easy & soooooo much cheaper than buying the SAME prouduct here. Hope this helps Just another thought go to www.lcool.org on the 200 site & do a search on firestone airbags HEAPS of info there, also suggested mounting points for the valves! Cheers
  20. Ha Ha .... your kiddin
  21. Hi Colin, I have a property 10 minutes out of Cessnock & 230 acres so I'm sure that we could find a place for your van while you are visiting the beautiful 'Hunter Valley'. I am happy to supply limited fresh/tank water, power & washing machine if required. We have in the past operated a B&B here (not at the moment though) our website is still up & running so if you would like to have a look at the property & what is available to see & do in the district go to www.theoldmillbnb.com.au Looking forward to welcoming you to 'The Hunter'. 24. I have a little Satnav It sits there in my car A Satnav is a driver's friend It tells you where you are. I have a little Satnav I've had it all my life It is better than the normal ones My Satnav is my wife. It gives me full instructions Especially how to drive "It's sixty k's an hour", it says "You're doing sixty five". It tells me when to stop and start And when to use the brake And tells me that it's never ever Safe to overtake. It tells me when a light is red And when it goes to green It seems to know instinctively Just when to intervene. It lists the vehicles just in front And all those to the rear And taking this into account It specifies my gear. I'm sure no other driver Has so helpful a device For when we leave and lock the car It still gives its advice. It fills me up with counselling Each journey's pretty fraught So why don't I exchange it And get a quieter sort? Ah well, you see, it cleans the house, Makes sure I'm properly fed, It washes all my shirts and things And - keeps me warm in bed! Despite all these advantages And my tendency to scoff, I do wish that once in a while I could turn the damned thing off
  25. A tip when it come time to replace or remove Kedron van batteries....... even though I'm not a ten pound weakling I found the access to the battery boxes very difficult when handling the 35kg monsters (batteries). Rather than cutting the battery boxes, I removed the nuts securing the hatch struts & simply slided the hatch flap out of its pivot point, it may be necessary to partly remove the white 'finishing' moulding on the outer edge of the van to permit easier removal of the hatch cover but it is very easily refitted after refitting the hatch cover. While you have the hatch cover off clean the hatch pivot mouldings with some steel wool & reassemble DRY do not lubricate the pivot. Hope this helps save your back & possible damage to your van
