  1. Hi Rob We have installed a one way valve, called a HepVo valve fitted in the drain line from the shower. This prevents any water or smells coming back up thru the line. We purchased from Reece plumbing in Brendale. They are widly used in motorhomes or caravans with grey water holding tanks. It's worth a try. Pete
  2. Hi Danny We had a vitrofrigo in our first Kedron ATV for two; the door fell off as a result of a broken hinge, then the compressor failed. The fridge was then replaced with another, this time the thermostat failed and then the compressor failed in the new one. Our latest Kedron has a Waeco, and we're very happy with its performance. Cheers Pete
  3. Hi Chris The Gibb River Road is a great adventure in itself, so take your time and enjoy. We did the shuvel and hole trick several times. We didn't see any authorised dump points and the tourist facilities along the way don't like you using their septic tank systems. From Drysdale Station we did a 2 hour flight over the region, and that was just great to see the Kimberly from another perspective. We did a similar flight from Kunnunara over Lake Arkyle and the Bungles. Travel safe. Pete.
  4. Hi Gordon and Chris. I would go by road LOL. My preference would be to head west from Brisbane , out thru Cunnamulla to Noccundra, then head to Tibooburra. It's a pretty easy run. Enjoy and travel safe. Pete
  5. Hi Colin Hope you and Gayleen are OK. Travel safe out there, it sure is going to rain. Peter and Margaret.
  6. Hullo all For what it's worth. We purchased a 2nd hand camper trailer from Kedron about 1998, our first Kedron ATV in 2003, and our second Kedron ATV in 2012. You don't do that unless you are happy with the product and service. To ALL the staff at Kedron, thank you and we'll done. Peter and Margaret
  7. Hi RussnSue Thanks to you guys, Margaret and I had a good time in Birdsville. Anzac Day was particularly good; thanks for the company and dinner over at your van. Enjoy your travels and travel safe Peter
  8. Hi RussnSue That was a good read. Had us reminiscing about some of the places we have also visited. All the best with your travels. Peter and Margaret
  9. Hi David All the best with the sale, it would be a good van for someone out there. Cheers Peter and Margaret (Overnighting in Bendemeer)
  10. Hi Kingy I agree with you. Such comments have no place on the KOG Forum, and I suggest they be removed. Regards Peter
  11. Hi Tex That is a good App . We have downloaded it, let's hope we never have to use it. Pete
  12. Hi Danny We have fitted a pre-filter to our LC200. Try Diesel Care www.dieselcare.com.au Cheers Peter
  13. Hullo everyone. Travel safely on our busy roads to your destination, and enjoy the company family and friends. All the best for Christmas. Peter and Margaret
  14. Hi Colin. Margaret has only been skiing twice, and it's on her 'bucket list'. Personally, I like to sit by an open fire in the evening with a nice glass of red wine. Pete
  15. Hi Colin We will have to decline the offer, it would be a great trip. Margaret wants to go down to the snow, I want to head north to the warmth; maybe we will do both in our ATV for two. Kind regards. Peter and Margaret
  16. Hi Andrew and Sally Interesting!!!!!!! Peter and Margaret
  17. Hi Steve and Keze The Kimberly is a rugged and beautiful place. We visited Beagle Bay in 2010. There are plenty of places to visit between Perth and Derby, but that journey could take months. Just enjoy each day, it's worth it. All the best in Paradise !!!!! Peter and Margaret
  18. Hi Sue I know you are along way away, but I would be talking to the boys at Kedron. If you start painting the inside, consider the resale value. I would be trying to rectify the cause rather than the effect. Peter
  19. Hi Colin and Gayleen Glad to here you have arrived home safely; and back to reality. I used Shower Power on our ATV for two, particularly on the chassis. It looks shiny and new again, and ready to go again. All the best. Peter and Margaret
  20. Hi Greg and Cathy I can understand the cleaning issue, if it wasn't for that bit of rain we would have been fine. After trying everything else on the chassis, I tried Shower Power on our ATV for two, it worked. I went through about 8 bottles, leave on as long as possible, soaking the mud, then Gernie off. What doesn't come off is imbedded in the galvanising and will need a wire brush to remove. Ours come up almost as new. Happy cleaning. Pete
  21. Hi Russ and Sue We did the Ridge Top Tour when we were there; the places you can take a Toyota!!!!!! All the best there, we thought they needed good people. Peter and Margaret.
  22. Hi Reece We often stay at the Big 4 in Narabeen Lakes. It's a nice park; big grassed sites, close to buses and shopping and close to Brookvale. We'll be there again in November. As far as the servicing is concerned, make sure they check the wheel alignment. You should have the details in the package you got from Kedron. Travel safe. Somewhere near Renmark SA. Regards Pete
  23. Well done. We are at the bottom of the Yorke Peninsula at Kemp Beach, it's blowing a gale and cold; but nice and warm with the diesel heater on as we watch sat TV. Travel safe everyone. Peter and Margaret
  24. Hi Chris and Val We are currently at the old Clements Gap School free camp on the Yorke Peninsula, and on our way home. Ours kids and grand kids are calling. Travel safe Peter and Margaret.
  25. Hi RussnSue We arrived in Port Augusta today after a week crossing the Nullarbor. The Great Central Road with the Outback Way gang was a good trip. We were wondering how you guys were going. Glad we met up with you both in Birdsville. We called in to Balladonia on the way over, we remembered you talking about it. Travel safe. Peter and Margaret.
